Putting our hopes and woes for a sequel aside, development company Rare could resurrectBanjo-Kazooieby remaking the original game. Now owned by Microsoft, it could be an Xbox exclusive or be ported to Nintendo, reuniting once again.

Interestingly enough, it is the best selling SNES game that was not bundled with the system. For having possibly the best soundtrack and gameplay ever seen in a Donkey Kong game,Donkey Kong Country 2:Diddy’s Kong Queststands out. The graphics are a bit dated, which is why it would benefit from a remake.
3Grim Fandango
This adventure game is highly acclaimed for a good reason. The point and click puzzle-solving and storytelling ofGrim Fandangoare masterful. As Manny Calavera, a travel agent for the Department of Death, you must fight the corporate forces of corruption while looking out for your well-being. A remaster ofGrim Fandangowas made in 2015, but there’s only so much a resolution increase can do. The remaster didn’t change much, which is why fans are owed a remake.

Super Mario 64is in dire need of a remake. Furthermore, Nintendo Switch should bring this beloved platformer to the Nintendo Switch. There is plenty of demand for it. The graphics are a bit dated, but the gameplay holds up.
