Summary
OneApex Legendsplayer has conducted their own tests in the battle royale, revealing which guns are most likely to spawn in supply bins when first starting a match. WhileApex Legendsincludes many weapons to use in a skirmish, these findings suggest that some are more easily obtainable in-game than others.
Respawn Entertainment made several significant changes tohow Battle Royale matches play out in Season 21 ofApex Legends. Among the alterations, the first supply bin a player opens now contains a guaranteed weapon, as long as they are unarmed. This change reduced the amount of randomness present at the start of a match by improving the odds that a player would receive some sort of gun to defend themselves. Previously, players could open multiple supply bins without finding a weapon after landing.

Despite this change to supply bins, luck is still involved as it is impossible to know what gun will be found inside. However, one player on Reddit, known as ProudActivity874, discovered that certainguns in Season 21 ofApex Legendshave a better chance of spawning than others. In a post on theApex Legendssubreddit, the Reddit user revealed the findings of a recent study they conducted in the game regarding supply bins. Specifically, the player jumped into 100 battle royale games and recorded the first weapon they found in a supply bin in each instance.
Weapons Most Likely to Spawn in Initial Supply Bins in Apex Legends
Unfortunately, for those looking to get one ofApex Legends’ best weaponsout of a supply bin, the odds are not as high as some less powerful options. According to ProudActivity874, the most likely weapon to spawn in a loot crate is the P2020, with the Reddit user finding ten of them in the 100 matches they recorded. Beyond this pistol, the player found nine Mozambique shotguns. That being said, the player still managed to find the season’s more powerful weapons, such as the Wingman, Havoc, and Volt, just not to the same degree. It is worth noting that the only weapon they did not find during their test was the Triple Take.
When sharing their findings on Reddit, ProudActivity874 provided several details about how their tests were conducted. According to the player, opening the supply bins was their first action when landing, meaning no guns or other loot was grabbed from the floor. In addition, they did not include special supply bins. Furthermore, different guns from a single supply bin were counted as one each, while multiple of the same weapon spawning in one bin were recorded as only one.
These results were doubtlessly intriguing to many in theApex Legendscommunity, with the post gaining hundreds of upvotes and numerous comments. WithSeason 21 ofApex Legendsunderway, it will be interesting to see what guns could be tweaked by Respawn Entertainment and how the meta evolves. In addition, there is always the chance the developer could change the spawn rates of certain weapons in supply bins as well.
