Assassin’s Creed Mirage’slogo gets a new look thanks to a fan willing to spot a clever detail. Recently revealed by Ubisoft,Assassin’s Creed Mirageis the next game in the iconic franchise. Set in Baghdad, before the events ofValhalla,Assassin’s Creed Miragefeatures a young Basimon his journey as an Assassin. Already, from previous leaks on the game, when it was referred to asAssassin’s Creed Rift, it was believed thatMiragewould be a more classic style experience, rather than use the RPG style of recent titles.
At the Ubisoft Forward that took place on September 10, it was revealed thatAsassin’s Creed Miragewould be marking a return to the series' roots. Stealth and action would be given a heavier focus, and while this excited some fans, others were worried they would lose the large scale they’ve seen in titles likeAssassin’s CreedValhallaandOdyssey. Apart from the return to a stealthier experience, plenty of other details were confirmed aboutAssassin’s Creed Mirage, including a closer look at the game’s logo and some other official images.

However, one fan known as deezel86 decided that the logo could use some changing. Currently, theAssassin’s Creed Miragelogo reads as “hidden one” when translated to Arabic. Keeping the traditional style ofAssassin’s Creedlogos, deezel86 altered theMirageimage so that when it translated from Arabic it reads “mirage.” The redesign also reflectsAssassin’s Creed Miragein more than just making the logo now read as the title of the game. Some added effects have given deezel86’s logo an aesthetic that better fits the setting ofAssassin’s Creed Mirage.
Assassin’s Creedfans in the comments of deezel86’s post praised the new logo design as well as the new meaning of it. There were plenty of fans who also admitted that they didn’t know that theAssassin’s Creedlogoactually meant “hidden one” before now, a fact that shows how many Easter eggs Ubisoft has planted in the franchise over the years.
Alongside the new logo forAssassin’s Creed Mirage, a few new games in the series were given new promotional images at the recent Ubisoft Forward. Three newAssassin’s Creedgames were confirmed inCodename Red,Codename Jade, andCodename Hexe.
