In the Flesh is Weak Quest, which is the first Haunting Case, players will encounter Antea and Redworking hand in hand to solve the mysteryof the missing Benedict. However, near the end, after Jacob confesses, it’s time to decide the fate of both Jacob and Benedict.

Among the available options isBlaming Jacobfor his misdeeds. In a twisted manner, Jacob killed Benedict by pushing him off a cliff, and to make matters even worse,he resorted to cannibalismand fed off the flesh of his best friend. On this route, Red will fiercely accuse the Trapper and reveal that he can never be forgiven.
Red will perform a Blame Ritual,killing Jacob, which releases Benedict’s soul from the world in peace. This decision will work towardsAntea’s resurrectionif players are planning to bring her back to life.
Should You Ascend Or Banish Benedict In Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden
Depending on your choice, Benedict’s reaction will be different.Ascending himwill allow his spirit togently leave this world and pass on without regrets. Benedict seems peaceful while doing the Ritual and will forgive everything Jacob did to him.
Banishing Ben,on the other hand, willforcefully kick his spirit out of the worldwith no chance of proper closure.Benedict would be furiousin this case and start cursing everything, including his fate, Jacob, and the forest.
Bothoptions willwork towards Ascending Antea. But considering the crucial decision to resurrect Antea or ascend her spirit will be made after Red rests inside Jacob’s place,whatever decision you choose won’t affect the storythat much,since it’s only the beginning.
The Flesh Is Weak Quest In Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden
Banishers will have a bit of adifficult time inBanishers: Ghosts of New Edenfinding certain clues. Luckily, this Haunting Case is somewhat mixed with the tutorials as you will learn that switching to Antea is useful in some cases, like when Red is trying to explore the area when it’s full of fog.
Antea will find the source and destroy it, which allows her lover to reach the lowest part of the mountains and discover Benedict’s corpse. The two Banishers will return to Jacob’s place and perform a Ritual,forcing the spirit to come out. Finally, after Benedict reveals his intent, it’s time to get closure and complete the Flesh is Weak Quest.
