Black Adamwon’t be heading to theaters until late October, but its star Dwayne Johnson can sure hype up fans by teasing an incoming trailer with some beautiful artwork that, while drastically different from the movie’s style, does promise to give the DCEU a much-needed breath of fresh air.

Johnson’sBlack Adamis leading the charge for DC this year, with the world’s most popular movie star chronicling his transformation process from the very start and keeping followers up to date on the film’s latest development, such as the highdemand for VFX specialists that’s delayedBlack Adamso much. Nevertheless, as one of the biggest movie stars in the world, Johnson brings tons of promise toBlack Adam, and WarnerMedia could hardly ask for a better promoter.

For that, Johnson shared four brand new postersfeaturing the Justice Society of America, a superhero alliance dating back to the 1940s that will likely go up against Teth-Adam as he wreaks havoc after his awakening. The DCEU’s Justice Society of America will be made up of Atom Smasher (Noah Centineo), Hawkman (Aldis Hodge), Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell), and Doctor Fate (Pierce Brosnan). All of these DCEU newcomers were tagged in Johnson’s tweet and masterfully rendered in the artwork.

The visually striking art style does bode well for the antihero, whose first teaser preview a while back showed the kind of destructive power Black Adam wields in the DCEU. As for the actual trailer, Johnson said it’s dropping on Wednesday, June 8, which will definitely have many fans excited considering how little is actually known about the film so far. Johnson has promised thatBlack Adamwill change the power structure in the DCEU, and the first trailer may provide as sense as to how that will be accomplished.

Accroding to reports,Black Adamis currently undergoing some minor reshoots to put the finishing touches onto a film that could very well set the path for DC in 2022, as his rival’sShazam! Fury of the Godsand the smallerBatgirlrollout in the following months. As for 2023, bothThe FlashandAquaman and the Lost Kingdomhave been shrouded in a bit of controversy as the former has seen its star Ezra Miller caught up in legal trouble, whereas the latter even became a debated topic in theAmber Heard vs. Johnny Depp trialdue to Mera’s apparently reduced role in it.

Still, the biggest question surroundingBlack Adamis how well Johnson fits the role, considering its darker nature is such a stark departure from the heroic characters he usually plays.
