Last month, Activision finally pulled the curtain back on theCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warcampaign, with an exciting trailer that confirmed the return of fan favorite characters like Frank Woods and Alex Mason. Now Activision has released theBlack Ops Cold Warmultiplayer trailer, confirming maps, gameplay features, and more.

TheBlack Ops Cold Warmultiplayer trailer footage was captured on a PlayStation 5 console, accentuating the ongoing relationship betweenCall of Dutyand PlayStation. The footage showcased different locations players will explore, while highlighting some new features that players will be able to try out.

As expected, theBlack Ops Cold Warmultiplayer experience is set in 1983, during theCold War. Players will be able to visit maps set in Miami, the North Atlantic ocean, Angola, Uzbekistan, and the Ural Mountains. These locations will feature a variety of different ways players can maneuver across them, including ziplines and map-specific vehicles.

For example, the map in the North Atlantic ocean features jet skis and boats, whereas the Angola desert map has vehicles appropriate for a desert setting. The Uzbekistan snow map, which was previously mentioned in apreviousBlack Ops Cold Warleak, has snowmobiles and even tanks for players to utilize. And finally, the Ural Mountains map is set in a mountain forest, with players able to use dirtbikes to get around.

Besides showing off a variety of the vehicles that players will be able to use in theBlack Ops Cold Warmultiplayer, the trailer also offered a glimpse at some of the weapons players will be able to use as well. The standard weapons players would expect from aCall of Dutygame are on display, as well as an impressive-looking grenade launcher. Needless to say,Black Ops Cold Warwill have a considerable arsenal for players to utilize in the online multiplayer battlefields.

TheBlack Ops Cold Warmultiplayer trailer concluded by reminding fans about the game’s pre-order bonuses.
