Summary
The Otsutsuki Clan is the strongest of all clans in theNarutoseries. Home to parasitic aliens who come from another planet, the Otsutsuki clan sees all its members go from planet to planet to consume all life and get stronger in the process. By consuming new life forms, they continuously update themselves.
As genetically advanced beings, the Otsutsuki have multiple Kekkei Genkai at their disposal and are quite capable of achieving fearsome feats like destroying planets. Some can even defeat people even as strong as Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. Of the Otsutsuki, though, some are definitely stronger than others.

In Boruto, the Otsutsuki are the focal point of the story, and everything that is currently going on in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, is directly tied to this magnificent clan. Over the years, fans have seen quite a lot of these powerful alien parasites emerge one after the other, and all of them are impressive in their own ways. That said, the latest developments in Boruto certainly have skewed their power rankings quite a bit. As such, this list has now been updated accordingly.
13Urashiki Otsutsuki
Kekkei Genkai: Rinnegan, Byakugan
Urashiki was an anime-only Otsutsuki who first appeared inBoruto: Naruto Next Generations. Introduced along with Momoshiki and Kinshiki Otsutsuki, Urashiki was shown to be quite powerful at first, but with time, his abilities became nothing too special.
Urashiki was easily dealt with by Sasuke Uchiha. Even Jiraiya managed to hold his own against him, and Boruto and Naruto Uzumaki contributed to his defeat as well.
Urashiki’s Special Ability
Urashiki Otsutsuki had quite a special Dojutsu. Although introduced with the Byakugan, he had the ability to change it into a Rinnegan at will. Furthermore, with his Rinnegan, he could use space-time ninjutsu, as well as go back in time momentarily, making it seem like he could see the future. Urashiki was not thestrongest Otsutsuki, but his ability was impressive nonetheless.
12Toneri Otsutsuki
Kekkei Genkai: Byakugan, Tenseigan
Introduced inThe Last: Naruto the Movieas the main antagonist, Toneri Otsutsuki was quite a skilled fighter. Toneri was extremely powerful when in possession of the Byakugan, as seen in the movie.
Eventually, he even managed to evolve the Byakugan into the Tenseigan and gained enough power to destroy the earth if he wanted to. Toneri’s Tenseigan Chakra Mode put him on the same level as Naruto Uzumaki and allowed him to slice the moon in half.
Toneri’s Special Ability
Toneri Otsutsuki awakened the power of the Tenseigan when he stole Hanabi’s eyes and this Kekkei Genkai was, without a doubt, his biggest strength. With the Tenseigan, he was able to use Tenseigan Chakra Mode, which drastically boosted his fighting prowess.
11Indra Otsutsuki
Kekkei Genkai: Sharingan, Mangekyo Sharingan
The older son of Hagoromo Otsutsuki, Indra was known to be a genius right from when he started training in the ways of ninshu. Indra had inherited the chakra and the ocular prowess of his father and was, thus, a genius.
With power as great as his, Indra was able to fight even Asura Otsutsuki and keep up with him as he did so. After Hagoromo chose Asura to be the successor of his ways, Indra fought his brother in an endless cycle that would never stop.
Indra’s Special Ability
Indra Otsutsuki was born with incredible powers and although he didn’t have the Rinnegan like two of his successors, he did have an incredibly powerful Mangekyo Sharingan. With it, he could use the mighty Susano’o and match Asura Otsutsuki in battle.
10Asura Otsutsuki

The younger brother of Indra Otsutsuki, Asura was quite a lot like Naruto Uzumaki back in the day. Born with no talent,Asura Otsutsuki was nowhere near his brother’s level; however, continuous training and help from all those around him shaped him to be the man who would eventually go on to replace Hagoromo Otsutsuki.
Asura was quite powerful and had the same vitality as Naruto Uzumaki. The Uzumaki and the Senju are the direct descendants of Asura Otsutsuki — in a sense, all of their power stems from him.
Asura’s Special Ability
Asura Otsutsuki didn’t have any special talents, however, he was gifted the powers of his father, Hagoromo Otsutsuki. Thanks to the Six Paths Senjutsu, he could fight and overwhelm even Indra. Asura’s biggest ability was to use a giant three-headed and six-armed chakra avatar.
9Hamura Otsutsuki
Hamura Otsutsuki was the younger brother of the Sage of Six Paths and quite a powerful fighter, just like the Sage himself. However, unlike him, Hamura didn’t have the Rinnegan at his disposal.
It is believed that Hamura had access to the Tenseigan, along with the Six Paths chakra.
In the fight against Kaguya Otsutsuki, Hamura played a big role, as he helped Hagoromo seal her away. Although his true strength remains unknown, Hamura has certainly shown himself to be quite a skilled warrior.

Hamura Otsutsuki, while often underrated, was actually quite powerful. He was the first and the only person to awaken the Tenseigan with normal means. Hamura likely made use of the Tenseigan Chakra Mode, along with his ability to use Six Paths Senjutsu, making him one of themost powerful Otsutsuki.
8Kinshiki Otsutsuki
Kekkei Genkai: Byakugan
Kinshiki Otsutsuki appeared inBoruto: Naruto the Movieasone of the main antagonists of the story. In Kaguya’s dimension, Kinshiki was shown to be able to fight against Sasuke Uchiha, who had grown several times stronger since the Fourth Great Ninja War.
With his chakra weapons, Kinshiki could cut anything in two. Perhaps this power may come into play in a future story set in this world.
Kinshiki Otsutsuki’s Special Ability
Kinshiki Otsutsuki had quite a few abilities up his sleeve but, without a doubt, his biggest ability was to be able to summon the various weapons that could cleave through anything. It is believed that his weapons could split even a planet apart.
7Momoshiki Otsutsuki
The main antagonist ofBoruto: Naruto the Movie, Momoshiki Otsutsuki traveled with Kinshiki Otsutsuki to earth in search of the Nine-Tails. Momoshiki was clearly the stronger of the two, as evident from Kinshiki’s loyalty to him when he wanted his power.
Momoshiki had the powers of the Byakugan and possessed the Rinnegan on top of that. After absorbing Kinshiki,he could even take on both Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchihaat once — which is no small feat.
Momoshiki Otsutsuki’s Special Ability
As one of the higher-ranked andstrongest Otsutsuki, Momoshiki had great power up his sleeve. With his first Rinnegan, he could absorb any kind of chakra. With his second Rinnegan, he could return the same chakra, however, by making it several times stronger. Momoshiki’s abilities got scarier after he absorbed Kinshiki himself.
6Hagoromo Otsutsuki
Kekkei Mora: Rinnegan
The Sage of Six Paths, Hagoromo Otsutsuki is known to be one of the strongest characters in theNarutoseries, if not the strongest. As Kaguya’s son, Hagoromo was born with a tremendously powerful chakra. On top of that, Hagoromo Otsutsuki had an overpowered Rinnegan at his disposal, which he used to seal Kaguya Otsutsuki away.
Hagoromo Otsutsuki created the Tailed Beasts with the creation of All Things and breathed life into them, which just goes to show how skilled he truly was. These Tailed Beasts have reappeared several times over the course ofNarutoandBoruto, and are vital to the lore.
Hagoromo Otsutsuki’s Special Ability
The Sage of Six Paths is easily among thestrongest Otsutsukiin the story, and he strongly inherited his mother’s chakra. With his Rinnegan, Hagoromo could perform miracles. His biggest ability, without a doubt, was a Yin-Yang Release jutsu called the Creation of All Things. This technique allowed him to create anything and then breathe life into it, almost as if he was a God.
5Kaguya Otsutsuki
Kekkei Mora: Rinne-Sharingan, Byakugan
Known to be the progenitor of chakra on earth, Kaguya Otsutsuki came to earth a long time ago and eventually became its ruler. Kaguya was already quite powerful, and by eating the chakra fruit that the God Tree bore, she became even stronger.
Kaguya had the Byakugan along with the Rinne-Sharinganat her disposal and was powerful enough to fight both Hagoromo and Hamura Otsutsuki at once. In the Fourth Great Ninja War, she took on Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and eventually the remaining people around them all at once.
Kaguya Otsutsuki’s Special Ability
Kaguya Otsutsuki had more than just one trick up her sleeve, however, her Rinne-Sharingan was, by far, the biggest and most dangerous ability that she’s ever shown.Kaguya could use it to cast Infinite Tsukuyomi, as well as perform several powerful space-time ninjutsu.
4Isshiki Otsutsuki

The strongest of all the Otsutsuki, Isshiki was introduced inBoruto: Naruto Next Generationsas the biggest known antagonist to date. Isshiki was higher-ranking than Kaguya Otsutsuki, making him stronger than the latter.
In his fight against Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, Isshiki proved himself to be quite capable by defeating them both without so much as a scratch. With his ocular powers, he could shrink up himself and anything inanimate.He could also use his special Dojutsu power called Daikokutento summon large cubes which could destroy anyone.
Isshiki Otsutsuki’s Special Ability
It is only natural for the strongest Otsutsuki in the series to have the strongest ability. Isshiki Otsutsuki’s eye was his biggest asset, as seen in the story. He could summon chakra rods and shrink them using a technique called Sukunahikona. Furthermore, Isshiki could make use of a dimension where time didn’t flow at all.
