As seen over the course of the last few chapters,Boruto: Two Blue Vortexhas seen the emergence of the God Tree clones and, one of them is a clone of Sasuke Uchiha. Finally, fans know the name of Sasuke’s clone to be Hidari and he appears to be one of the strongest of the lot.

How Hidari Was Created

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 5finally explained to the fans how Hidari was created. During the timeskip of the series, Boruto Uzumaki was being trained by Sasuke Uchiha. Within just one year, he managed to teach the basics of all his techniques to Boruto Uzumaki. This was somewhat surprising, however, fans do know that Boruto is a genius and, for a character such as him, grasping the basics of all of Sasuke’s techniques in one year isn’t too far-fetched. That said, it would still take him many years from there onwards to master Sasuke’s techniques. Boruto and Sasuke were seen together and, later on, enjoying a nice chat by the fire.

Sometime later, fans finally got to see Code tracking down Boruto Uzumaki and it was up to Sasuke to stop him. Code had an army of the Claw Grimes by his side and, of course, this made the already difficult battle impossible for Sasuke to win. Despite that, Sasuke held his own incredibly well in this fight and actuallyput up a real challenge for Code.

Sasuke even took one of his eyes from him and that just goes to show that he too gained a lot of strength during the timeskip. This is especially impressive since Code, at this point, is stronger than Jigen, and for Sasuke to injure him this greatly suggests that his strength was greater than ever before. Regardless, Sasuke sacrificed himself for the sake of Boruto and entrusted everything to him. Eventually, he fell in combat and was bitten by one of the Claw Grimes, which led to him being turned into a God Tree and, of course, due to his chakra being drained, a clone of Sasuke Uchiha, named Hidari, was birthed.

This clone was seen for the very first time in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 4 and fans were certainly shocked to see what Hidari had to offer. Just by looking at him, it was clear that this clone was created by Sasuke’s chakra. It was in this chapter that the Shinju clones were fully realized and, it wasn’t long after that they tested their strength against Boruto Uzumaki in combat.

Hidari’s Powers

Hidari is incredibly powerful and this was apparent from the very first moment he clashed against Boruto. He was first seen making use of the space time shinjutsu that he has access to, thanks to Code. This Shinjutsu is incredibly dangerous and allows him to transport himself to wherever a mark is put. At the same time, he can alter his arms and turn them into many appendages, even swords, at will. He attacked Boruto Uzumaki with this sword and, thankfully, Boruto adapted quickly and managed to dodge. However, Hidari wasted absolutely no time and prepared a powerful Chidori to attack Boruto. To this, Boruto responded with a powerful Rasengan and it was apparent that these two were somewhat equally matched at the time. However, Boruto immediately realized that he could not win a fight against him or the other clones and, because of that, he ended up retreating.

It must be noted that Hidari, at this point, had not fully realized his powers and, the more time he is given to realize his instincts, the stronger he will get. Hidari has all of Sasuke Uchiha’s abilities and his fighting style ingrained into him. If that wasn’t enough, he has the power boost of the 10 Tails as well. After all, he is a product of the 10 Tails being morphed into Claw Grimes.

To make things even worse,he has access to two Rinneganand that means he has Six Paths Powers up his sleeve as well. Hidari is already overpowered enough for the vast majority of the Boruto cast to be inferior to him and, with time, he will only end up growing stronger. From here onwards, his role in the story will continue to grow and Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 5 gave him much more importance.

Hidari’s Target – Sarada Uchiha

InBoruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 5, Jura, who appears to be the leader of the clones, explained that they exist to fulfill their instinct. Hidari, Sasuke’s clone, started wondering as to why they existed in the first place, however, Jura answered by saying that they need to listen to the voice inside of them and that will lead them to whatever answer it is that they are seeking. Given that they are a product of the 10 Tails, they seek out chakra and want to gain even further strength to become stronger.

As a result, these clones are all listening to their inner voice to tell them who their target is, instead of mindlessly attacking anyone with chakra who crosses their paths. For Hidari, the target appears to be none other than Sarada Uchiha. Fans know that Sarada is Sasuke’s daughter and, perhaps, that is precisely why he felt his body wanted him to consume Sarada. It is going to be extremely difficult for Sarada to defeat him and, if she is to stand any sort of a chance against him in combat, she has to level up greatly in terms of power and technique.

This sets up very interesting fights for the future ofBoruto: Two Blue Vortex.Fans know that Hidari is soon going to set out and target either Konoha, or the Shinobi of Konoha on a mission. Since he has his eyes set on Sarada, he will be closely monitoring her and, eventually, come face to face with her. This means that Sarada Uchiha will get a major fightfor the very first time in Boruto and that is incredibly exciting for her character. This will also give her the opportunity to showcase the powers of her Mangekyo Sharingan and, at the same time, perhaps, level up her ocular powers even more.

Sarada aims to become the Hokage of the villageand that requires her to attain incredible strength. If she wishes to do so, she will have to be strong enough to dispose of Otsutsuki-level threats, as that is the standard set by Naruto Uzumaki himself. It will also be interesting to see what Hidari is capable of when they meet inevitably in combat and what kind of relationship he will have with Sarada who he believes to be his target.

Boruto is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and theManga Plusapp. The release date for the next chapter of Boruto, Boruto Part 2 chapter 6, is set to be July 21, 2025.
