Bungie has come across several issues inDestiny 2since it was released back in 2017 and developers are aware of a new one. Currently, severalDestiny 2players are experiencing issues with weapons dropping in the Dreaming City.
Reissued Dreaming City weapons are apparently not dropping for players as intended according to Bungie Help on Twitter. Bungie is currently investigating the problem, but some players have been impacted by this issue since last Tuesday. While the developers at Bungie haven’t suggested a time frame on whenDestiny 2fans can expect this fix to be implemented, it may not be long.

Since Bungie Help’s official Twitter account has confirmed that the developers are working on a fix to this issue,Destiny 2fans may be getting their Dreaming City weapons as intended soon. While the grind for these weapons is already intended to be among the more time-consuming activities inDestiny 2, Bungie wants players who do make the effort to receive their rewards.
Lots ofDestiny 2players grinding in the Dreaming Cityfor these powerful weapons by doing a wide variety of activities and bounties in the area experienced an issue almost immediately. In this effort to attain the powerful weapons, several fans discovered that the rare drops weren’t dropping at all. In contrast, moon weapons can be easily farmed from Essence bounties, but may not be so appealing for the players. It hasn’t been long since players discovered this issue, but Bungie hasn’t hinted at what the issue might be.
ADestiny 2update recently rolled out, but it didn’t include a fix for thisDreaming City weapondrop issue. Among the weapons that aren’t dropping accordingly are Tigerspite – Frenzy, Twilight Oath – Vorpal Weapon, and Abide the Return – Thresh.Destiny 2fans who are looking to get these drops are seemingly frustrated according to the response to Bungie Help’s tweet about the issue.
SeveralDestiny 2fans joined the conversation with Bungie Help to say that it’s about time that a fix for this issue is coming. Among the comments, some players expressed criticism of how these weapons are attained to begin with. OneDestiny 2fan suggestedthat Bungie also investigate issues in the Dreaming City with the golden chests, eggs, and bones.
Otherconcerns thatDestiny 2fans took to Bungieinclude nerfing various weapons and enemies, fixing drop rates in other locations, and a buff for Stasis. Despite the critics, manyDestiny 2fans encouraged the developers while hoping for a quick fix.
