To tide fans over, Activision has released a newCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarSeason 1 cinematic trailer, highlighting the new playable operator Stitch, their backstory, and some of the new content fans can expect.
TheCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarSeason 1 trailer mainly focuses on playable operator Stitch, who was a KGB agent that had a hand in making the Nova-6 gas. Stitch was eventually captured byRussell Adlerand tortured, though apparently did not give up any valuable information. Stitch spent some time in the gulag for his failures, but has since returned to producing Nova-6 and has set his sights on Adler.

The showdown between Adler and Stitch happens on the newBlack Ops Cold Warmultiplayer map Mall at the Pines, which is an 1980s shopping mall. It’s not the only new multiplayer map that will be featured inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarSeason 1, but it got the most attention in the trailer.
Something else of interest in theCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarSeason 1 cinematic trailer is some of Stitch’s dialogue. Stitch makes reference to Rebirth Island, which has long been rumored to be the location of a newCall of Duty: Warzonemap. If the rumors are to be believed, Rebirth Island is a remake of theAlcatraz prison island mapthat has been featured in previousCall of Dutygames, though that has yet to be confirmed.
It’s still unclear if thenewCall of Duty: WarzoneRebirth Island mapwill be available whenBlack Ops Cold WarSeason 1 launches on December 16, or if fans will have to wait until later in the season to see it in action. While theCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarSeason 1 update will undoubtedly add a lot of new content to the game, some of the content will likely be released in future updates and saved for the typical mid-season refresh.
