ACall of Dutycompletionist has recently posted their impressive collection of Mastery Camo cosmetics from every entry in the franchise. The so-called Mastery Camo is a unique, top-tier camouflage pattern thatCoDplayers can unlock by completing a series of increasingly more difficult challenges, and getting them is no easy feat, no matter the game.

Call of Duty’s Mastery Camo is often one of the most desirable cosmetics in the whole game, and even though the specific difficulty of achieving it differs from one game to another, it’s never easy or straightforward. A prime example of aCoDMastery Camo would beModern Warfare2019’s Damascus, which could only be unlocked by getting every other camo for each and every weapon in the game.

The difficulty of unlocking a Mastery Camo didn’t put off Reddit user OverTheReminds, who recently posted their perfect collection of these cosmetics from each and everyCall of Dutygame that had them. While certain exploits did allow players to, say, farm weapon XP quickly inCoD: Warzone, this doesn’t diminish OverTheReminds' achievement in the slightest, as they had been playingCall of Dutyfor close to a decade, and unlocked many of the games' respective Mastery Camos before any major exploits would be discovered.

OverTheReminds also notes that they mainly play modernCall of Dutygames to get all the available camouflage patterns, which basically means there’s plenty of grind ahead of them with each newCoDentry. Odds are good that OverTheReminds will do the same for the upcomingCall of Dutylaunch, but it’s worth pointing out that the availability of camos in this game is still somewhat unclear, as theModern Warfare 2beta limited its Gunsmith featurerather severely by hiding all the future cosmetics.

VeteranCoDplayers will know that unlocking certain camouflages can be a difficult and time-consuming task.Call of Duty: Vanguard’s infamous camo challengeforced players to take traditionally cumbersome sniper rifles into close-quarters combat to get 100 point-blank kills with them, for example. OverTheReminds had to trudge through many such challenges to get to where they currently are.

Curiously, one unexpected problem with the next flagshipCall of Dutygame’s customization is the community consensus thatModern Warfare 2has bad UIalmost across the board. Players are almost unanimous in how much they dislike the game’s interface in general, which looks like it favors touchscreen displays over anything else, and slows down customization by a significant margin. Infinity Ward is yet to show if the full game will offer any improvements in this regard, but failing to do so could make referencing camo challenges unnecessarily difficult.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2launches on October 28 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
