Activision has revealedCall of Duty: Modern WarfareSeason 1, which will bring with it a ton of new content beginning December 3 with the release of the Battle Pass. Most of this content will be available toCall of Duty: Modern Warfareplayers for free, with all of the new DLC maps available to everyone regardless of if they purchase the Battle Pass or not. In total, Activision revealed six newCall of Duty: Modern Warfaremaps that will be coming to the game with Season 1.

Three of the newCall of Duty: Modern Warfaremaps will be for the standard multiplayer mode, and all three areclassic maps fromCall of Duty 4. The new maps include Crash, Vacant, and the fan-favorite Shipment. Shipment, as it turns out, will double as a Gunfight map, which makes sense considering its small size.

Besides Shipment, two other2v2 Gunfight mapswere confirmed forCall of Duty: Modern WarfareSeason 1. This includes Cargo, which takes place on an “open-roof storage vessel for shipping containers” and is set in London. Cargo and Shipment will be joined by Atrium, which is set at a Verdansk palace.

Thelarge-scale 32v32 Ground War modewill also be getting some love as part ofCall of Duty: Modern WarfareSeason 1. The new Ground War map is called Port, and it will feature a mix of a shipping area and city streets.

Activision has said that there will be moreCall of Duty: Modern WarfareDLC maps released for the game throughout Season 1. No hints were given about these maps, though the graphic shows “And More” in the Gunfight section with an image of an unnamed map.

It’s also possible that all of these announcedCall of Duty: Modern Warfarenew maps won’t be in the game whenSeason 1 starts on December 3. Some of the content is expected to be rolled out gradually over time, so fans may have to wait a bit before they get to battle it out on Shipment. Specifics on which maps will be available on December 3 are unavailable at the time of this writing, but we shouldn’t have to wait long to find out.
