WhileCall of Duty: Warzonefans were apprehensive about the new Caldera map at first, it seems as though some of them have begun to take a liking to it. SomeCall of Duty: Warzonefans are even requesting that a new game mode featuring the Caldera map becomes a permanent fixture in the game.
Raven Software also recently introduced another change to the game that some players have mixed feelings about. Fans have noticed that thearmor plates inCall of Duty: Warzonemay have been nerfedwithout Raven Software notifying players that this change would take place. Prior to the change, players were able to loot 16 armor plates from a player who died with a satchel, provided that the player looting did not have one. Now it seems as though players are only able to loot the 8 armor plates that are contained within the satchel.

Call of Duty: Warzoneplayers do, however, seem to be enjoying the game’s latest game mode called Caldera Clash. The game mode entails players dropping into a 50v50 team deathmatch style mode, which is won by the team that racks up the most kills. Unfortunately, right now it seems as though players will only be able to enjoy Caldera Clash for a short while longer, as it is a limited-time event. This has prompted many players to ask Raven Software to keep the game mode inWarzonepermanently.
Thankfully, players will likely have a say in whether the mode stays in the game or not due toRaven Software adding polls toCall of Duty: Warzoneto allow players to vote on changesto the game. Players have already been given the opportunity to vote in one such poll relating to the number of health points players should have inWarzone.
Polls may also be used in other future decisions in the game, such as thespawn rates of Juggernaut suits inCall of Duty: Warzone, as many players felt that the item spawned far too regularly. Thankfully, Raven Software has since adjusted the spawn rates in a recent update.
Raven Software also added another update toCall of Duty: Warzoneby quickly fixing an accidental sniper rifle nerf. It seems as though the company accidentally nerfed sniper rifle headshot damage and was quick to make balancing changes to the mechanic. The new polling system will, hopefully, make changes like these much easier on both the players and the developer.
Call of Duty: Warzoneis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
