Teaser boxes have been delivered to several popularCall of Duty: Warzonestreamers in the last few weeks, each containing the same mysterious items: A letter fromModern Warfarelegend Lurch, a giant Rook, and a flash drive containing footage of varying locations withinWarzone.

Individually each of these clips tells a very different story. NICKMERC and TeeP looked at their pieces individually, while Jackfrags actually pieced together the three videos. Although there are probably more videos still to be discovered, these three clips might hold the key to the future ofWarzone.

NICKMERC’s gives a look at a train, giving the impression that atrain may be added toWarzone;TeeP’s video gives a look inside of the Stadium when an explosion goes off, and Jackfrag’s gives the perspective of a broken camera inside a tunnel, presumably inside of Stadium as well. Each perspective is only a fraction of a bigger story leaking a possible event coming toCall of Duty: Warzone.

In the first video,NICKMERCs sees a train inWarzone. Notably, the train blasts its horn, as if it’s leaving, while a helicopter speeds off into the distance. Initially, it was assumed the helicopter was headed out of Verdansk but in Jackfrag’s reveal, the destination was eventually found. One assumption that has not been disproven is the possible confirmation of a roaming train on the map. This has long been a fan-requested feature, and with the train departing the possibility is still present.

The second video discovered came from TeeP. This streamer had the luxury of unboxing a video that contained a rather interesting scene inside of the Stadium. A few seconds pass and then suddenly a bright light fills the screen as if an explosive went off, with the camera cut off leaving players simply sitting with no explanation. Across the web, game theorists have been looking at the possibility thatStadium has been bombed. Mixing this video with the last tells the story of an evacuating helicopter mixed with what could be a rather large explosion.

The story changes when the third teaser is mixed in.Jackfrags opened up his Shadow Company boxand video to find a broken tunnel camera presumably located in the Stadium. On the top left is the location tag “5GTUNL2” which determines that it is probably Tunnel 2. The way the tunnel opens up looks almost like an entrance tunnel into a Stadium. In the distance, a helicopter can be seen landing carefully on the ground.

In the background, Jackfrags points out a fire in the background, as one of the main buildings on fire is the Stadium. In fact, there is already a glitch involving the fire toallow fans inside of Stadium. The lighting in the background of the video makes it seem natural, almost as if it was sunlight. The only place that is on fire that could provide that kind of light is the Stadium itself, and if the Stadium was nuked, the timeline would put the helicopter in the blast radius. This has a whole different group of internet theorists pointing towards a different solution.

Shadow Company is known for going into difficult situations and “solving the problem.” Verdansk is a difficult situation. For a team to operate the way that all three Shadow Company letters suggest they would ned a breach point and base of operations. The helicopter could be the deployment vessel for the squad while the explosion seen in video two is theirbreach into the ceiling of Stadium. If they were to deploy into a secure building like the Stadium, they would want to take the most direct approach.

At this point, it all but officially confirmed thatShadow Company will be coming toWarzone. The ruthless squad will be part of the solution to ending the conflict in Verdansk through their aggressive and frontal approach. This will mean several things to the map that players have grown to love. The Stadium will most likely be open, a train could be wandering the map, and debris might be covering the field inside of Stadium giving a sense of cover.

All that is left to be discovered is a cipher hidden among the videos. The three strings read as “6DTC7, 5GCONCRSEA3, 5GTUNL2.” Some fans believe these are camera location codes, while others see something much more secretive hidden just below the surface.

Call of Duty: Warzoneis available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
