Uploaded photos by Reddit user StarfieldExplorer47 present a bulky but rather neat construction, especially given the size. Encased in an ostensibly transparent structure, with theStarfieldlogo emblazoned in the center, comments on the post theorize that the components used could include “either a 6800 or 6900” acting as the graphics card. The consensus is that while aesthetically pleasing, the gaming rig would likely be a nuisance to clean and maintain. Bethesda IP are famous, or infamous depending on the perspective, for their broad reach in the gaming industry and beyond. The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimhas been released so many times it is difficult to count andFallout 76spawned “16 times the detail,” a meme mocking the claim made by Todd Howard regarding the title. Bethesda’s boast thatStarfieldwill include over 1000 unique worldsis seemingly priming itself for a similar fate, with gamers concerned that the quantity of planets will diminish their quality, though that remains to be seen.
If another claim made during the most recent Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase comes to fruition, then gamers can hope forStarfieldto be in their hands by June next year. However, reporting suggests that significantly more time may be required, with developers working on the title alleging the existence of internal concerns that the game couldturn out to be the next “Cyberpunk.“This is in reference toCyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red’s once absurdly anticipated RPG, that released as a technical disaster. It took two years for the title to regain meaningful attention, with a conveniently timed anime,Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, acting as the catalyst for the sudden engagement. Bethesda would be wise to take its time and releaseStarfieldwhen it is truly ready if it wants toi avoid a similar situation.
Starfieldwill release in 2023 for PC and Xbox Series X.
