Rosco takes the cake as one of the most interesting iconic weapons inCyberpunk 2077.It may look like just another Overture revolver, but it has a unique way of activating its special perk that’s perfect for anyone roleplaying as a cold-blooded killer.
This iconic weapon is one of the many new additions introduced inCyberpunk 2077’s2.0 patch and the subsequentPhantom Libertyexpansion.Obtaining this gunisn’t complicated by any stretch of the imagination, but players can possibly miss it if they make the wrong decisions. Here’s how to get it.

How to Get The Rosco Iconic Revolver
Rosco is the main weapon used by Dodger, a high-ranking Barghest soldier operating in Pacifica. Players will only be able to deal with him if they decide to do theWaiting for Dodger gigfor Mr. Hands. To start this gig, head to the Dogtown entrance near the Grand Imperial Mall fast travel point and enter the parked car highlighted by the quest marker.
Speak with Stella inside the car, and she’ll tell players that her fiancé Bill and his partner Charles are in trouble. The two dirty cops have found themselves tangled with Dodger and his crew, and V’s jobis to get both of the men out alive.

For the sake of getting Rosco, players can simply go inside the building across the street guns blazing with no regard for the lives of the Barghest soldiers or the woman’s request not to kill anyone. Just keep following the quest marker and blast everyone who isn’t Bill and Charles.
Eventually, players will meet Dodger just as they’re exiting the building via the garage. Don’t bother speaking to him — draw a weapon and flatline Dodger and his boys. Bill and Charles will survive the encounter, and Dodger will drop Rosco when he dies.
Rosco is a revolver that instantly kills regular enemies if players shoot them in the leg first before following up with a headshot. It also deals increased crit damage to help take down tougher targets that are immune to the instakill effect like bosses, mini-bosses, cyberpsychos, and enemies with a skull on their health bar. Additionally, headshots against enemies lying on the ground will always deal critical damage.
This pistol is built for precision. If players find themselves unable to kill enemies with one or two headshots, go for the leg first then follow up with a headshot. The most common use case for this is when players are fighting against heavily-armored opponents.
Keep in mind that despite the gun’s description saying it will instantly kill grounded opponents, what it actually does is just massively increases the weapon’s damage to all enemies that are on the ground. It’s unknown if this is a bug or an intended design choice but as of Patch 2.01, it is how Rosco works.
