TheDiablo 4Limited Collector’s Box is available for pre-order, but doing so won’t prepare players for the game’s release. The new, limited-editionDiablo 4collector’s set does not actually include the game itself.
Players can pre-order theDiablo 4Limited Collector’s Box on the Blizzard Gear Store for $96.66. This gorgeous box has a limited run of only 50,000 copies, and includes some incredible physical collector’s items:

However, players might noticeDiablo 4itself is not included in the list of goodies in the Limited Collector’s Box. That is becauseDiablo 4does not have a physical edition–all of its available pre-purchase options are digital only. Players interested in the Limited Collector’s Box will need topurchaseDiablo 4through one of these digital options.
Players can acquire the Standard, Digital Deluxe, and Ultimate editions ofDiablo 4for $70, $90, and $100 respectively. All three editions contain the base game andseveral cosmetics forWorld of Warcraft,Diablo 4,Diablo 3, andDiablo Immortal, while the Digital Deluxe and Ultimate editions unlock additional cosmetics, Early Access, and Premium Battle Pass access. The Ultimate Edition offers a special emote and 20 Tier Skips for the Premium Battle Pass.
On one hand, it actually makes sense not to includeDiablo 4within the Collector’s Box itself. Doing so allows players to choose which edition ofDiablo 4they wish to pre-purchase in conjunction with the Collector’s Box. Additionally, it allowsplayers to jump right intoDiablo 4, rather than risk delays due to shipping, especially considering the game is purely digital anyway. Regardless, the price of the game and Collector’s Box together is roughly the same as the physical collector’s editions of most AAA games.
On the other hand, spending $100 on the Collector’s Edition ofDiablo 4without actually getting the game seems absurd to many players. Many wonder why Blizzard didn’t include the option to addDiablo 4’spre-purchase into the Collector’s Box, and think keeping them separate may make people less likely to pick up the collectibles.Diablo 4fans will have to see if Blizzard ends up selling out its stock of the Limited Collector’s Box, and if the idea of a separate collector’s edition becomes a precedent in the industry aspurely-digital games become standard.
Diablo 4launches on June 05, 2025, for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
