With just a couple of months to go untilDiablo 4is released, Microsoft announced a new Xbox Series X bundle with Blizzard’s upcoming action RPG in mind. The bundle will include a console, a digital copy ofDiablo 4, and some bonus in-game items for players that want to experience Sanctuary on a new console.

Recently,Diablo 4hosted two rounds of beta testing, with the most recent being an open beta on all platforms from March 24 through 27. ThoughtheDiablo 4open beta was marred by queue timesand server issues at first, players were eventually able to log in as servers stabilized. While feedback was asked for by Blizzard during the open beta, it remains to be seen what feedback will be considered ahead ofDiablo 4’s release. When the game is released, a new console bundle will be available for players that want to giveDiablo 4a go on a new Microsoft system.

TheDiablo 4Xbox Series X bundle will release alongsideDiablo 4on June 6 and will retail for $559.99 USD. Pre-orders for the console bundle are available now on the Xbox storefront. This is in accordance with somebundle details that were leaked a few days agoon social media. The bundle will include a 1 TB Xbox Series X console, an Xbox wireless controller, and a game voucher to download the standard edition ofDiablo 4.

The standard edition ofDiablo 4will also include the Light-Bearer horse mount and Caparison of Faith mount armor for players that pre-order the game. Some exclusive rewards for other Blizzard games are also included in the bundle and will be immediately available upon pre-order. These rewards include new cosmetic wing sets forDiablo 3andDiablo Immortal, the Inarius Murloc pet forDiablo 3, and a new mount forWorld of Warcraft: Dragonflightcalled the Amalgam of Rage. All these items require a Battle.net account to use, and players will need to connect their Xbox and Battle.net accounts together to redeem these items.

The news of theDiablo 4Xbox Series X bundle comes as Microsoft is looking to close its acquisition of Activision Blizzard, despite heavy opposition from Sony and scrutiny from regulatory panels across the world. While theacquisition of Activision Blizzard is practically a done deal, the timing of theDiablo 4bundle could not have been more opportune for Microsoft. Only time will tell when the deal will finally close.
