There are a variety of meals found inDisney Dreamlight Valley, and it’s not an exaggeration to say that a good portion of recipes is taken from real life. There are some iconic dishes like the birthday cake fromSleeping Beautyor Mushu’s breakfast fromMulan. But on the other hand, realistic meals like Salad and Mocha are also found in the game.
Ranch Salad is a 5-Star recipe that requires a variety of ingredients to be prepared, mostly vegetables. It rewards players with 714 energy, which is a very poor amount considering its rarity. And it doesn’t get any better since the dish’s worth is 396 Star Coins. As players won’t benefit greatly from Ranch Salad, it’s probably best to leave it for aFriendship Quest inDisney Dreamlight Valleyor until a character specifically asks for it. Among the many disadvantages, the meal does offer an advantage. Unlike other complicated 5-Star recipes, Ranch Salad requires more simple ingredients, which can be found in early-game Biomes.

To make Ranch Salad inDisney Dreamlight Valley, five crucial ingredients must be collected; Lettuce, Tomato, Corn, Bell Pepper, and Onion. Obviously, all of them are vegetables since players will be making a salad. Each material can be found in a specific Biome; except, in this case, most ingredients are gathered from the same stall.
Lettuce
Lettuce can be bought from Goofy’s Stall at Peaceful Meadow. Luckily, this Biome will be available automatically the moment players begin their journey.TheDisney Dreamlight Valleyingredientcan be found as a vegetable or a bag of seeds that must be planted. It usually takes three minutes for the Lettuce to fully grow.
Tomato And Corn
Both Tomato and Corn are purchased from Goofy’s Stall at Dazzle Beach. The Corn may take some time to appear since players might need to upgrade the stall using the blue McDuck’s sign. People will have to wait 25 minutes to harvest a Tomatoand 35 Minutes inDisney Dreamlight Valleyto harvest a Corn. It’s always possible to buy the ingredient directly from the stall instead of planting it. Dazzle Beach cost 1,000 Dreamlight to unlock, which isn’t that much considering other Biomes.
Bell Pepper And Onion
Like the previous ingredients, Bell Pepper and Onion can be collected from the same Biome, the Forest of Valor. Goofy’s Stall will have all the necessary ingredients once players fully upgrade it. If players decide to plant them, the Bell Pepper needs 15 minutes while an onion requires one hour and 15 minutes. As for the Biome, Dreamers must pay 3,000 Dreamlight to Merlin and remove the big thorns blocking the way.
