Every Disney character that is inDisney Dreamlight Valleyhas a final Friendship Quest that typically requires being at Friendship Level 10 to unlock it, along with having certain biomes unlocked and other Disney characters at certain Friendship Levels. These quests usually conclude the storyline of that set of Friendship Quests, if it hasn’t already.
In some cases, like with Mickey Mouse, the last quest is different and has nothing to do withprevious quests to rescue Minnie Mouse. In fact,Mickey’s last Friendship Quest opens up a secret room in the castle. This guide will showDisney Dreamlight Valleyplayers how they canunlock this room in The Secret Door.

Open the Chest
The quest begins with Mickey handingDisney Dreamlight Valleyplayers a gold chest. He tells them that he can’t open it, but he is convinced that they can since they have magic. Despite the dialogue, players don’t need to expend any Dreamlight to open the chest. They simply can just open it, and it unlocks a memory of what appears to be a door hiding behind a curtain. Mickey doesn’t remember where exactly the door is, but he provides a hint via a poem which is included below.
Turrets and towers you will behold. Within: a door for things new and old.

Inside the Castle
The location mentioned in the poem is none other than the castle where theportals to other realms are located. Mickey will followDisney Dreamlight Valleyplayers until they find the door. Upon entering the castle, go right past the potted plants. Do not go up the stairs. There is a purple curtain just hanging there, and upon being examined, it will pull back and reveal a door. The door has an intricate design and five sockets, of which four are empty. Mickey will recite another poem, giving players a hint about how to open the door.
It needs no key you’ve ever known. To open this door, find matching stones.

Essentially, what players need to do is gather four different gems and insert them into the sockets on the door. One of them is a Peridotand is already in the door. The four gems that are needed areAquamarine, Garnet, Tourmaline, and Citrine.
Where to Find the Gems
This next step may takeDisney Dreamlight Valleyplayers some time as there is an element of randomness to getting the gems. One important thing to know is that Shiny gems are not required, and only regular versions of the gems will work.
Beyond the Door
Once all gems have been found,Disney Dreamlight Valleyplayers can return to the door and insert them into the empty sockets. Inside the room is what appears to be some sort of storage room. In there, Mickey gives players a fountain, and the quest ends. Interestingly, this door is still accessible even after the quest is completed. It is entirely possible that this room will be used in future quests asmore content is added to Dreamlight Valley.
Disney Dreamlight Valleyis available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
