Call of Duty: Warzonetournaments have been growing more popular over the last several months, with the competitions serving as a great way for the game’s most talented players to prove themselves. Unfortunately,Call of Duty: Warzonetournaments have been in the news for another reason, as Dr Disrespect’s ban has taken the internet by storm.
Streamer and friend of Dr Disrespect Zlaner recently revealed that the Two Time was blocked fromthe $100,000 Toronto Ultra Tournament. Dr Disrespect said that it was “weird” that he was not allowed to play in the tournament, and before long, fans were theorizing about why the Doc was not allowed into the tournament. While fans and Zlaner believe it was due to the content creator’s Twitch ban, as the Toronto Ultra Tournament was streamed through Twitch, no definitive answer was given.

Regardless of whetherDr Disrespect’s Twitch banplayed a role in him being barred from entry in the competition, the Doc has provided fans with some good news in a recent stream. On Dr Disrespect’s March 8 stream, one viewer talked about how unfair the tournament ban is. Instead of venting his frustrations, Dr Disrespect shared that he is allowed to compete in tournaments once again. Saying that the “flip phone rang the other day,” it seems like whatever issues were present were worked out.
Though Dr Disrespect missed out on thisCall of Duty: Warzonetournament, there will surely be other major events down the road. Thankfully, it sounds like he will not be given any more trouble when entering these future tournaments. That said, it seems like there is still some level of confusion regarding why Dr Disrespect was banned in the first place. Rather than agreeing with fans and blaming Twitch, The Two Time seems genuinely uncertain regarding why he was kept out of the latest Toronto Ultra competition.
About 32 minutes into his stream, Dr Disrespect asks himself why he was not allowed to participate. While this is a funny moment that keeps his character intact, his “I don’t know” seems genuine. The popular YouTube personality then goes on to cite his past as aCall of Dutydeveloper, pointing out how he had a key role in making “half the maps” forCall of Duty: Advanced Warfare. With his past workwith Sledgehammer Gamesshowing that he has a long history with theCall of Dutyfranchise, it does seem odd that so much time was spent on keeping Dr Disrespect away.
In the past, Dr Disrespect has mentioned how his ban from Twitch strained hisrelationship with Activision. While this could be an example of that damaged partnership, nobody seems to know for sure, and the important thing is that Dr Disrespect will be involved in tournaments again going forward.
Call of Duty: Warzoneis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
