Alternatively, they might be in luck, as Dying Light: Definitive Edition provides players the luxury of previous DLCs, to which they can find plenty of weapons to add to their zombie-slaying arsenal. To those new and old, the world of Dying Light is brutal and unforgiving, and if players can’t fight, then they best tighten the laces on their running shoes and sprint off. However, with the best weapons in Dying Light, players might not need to turn heel against the hordes.

If holding a bow isn’t to the player’s style, then perhaps a more modern design of the crossbow will. This weapon fires fast, it’s easy to hold, and it hurts like Hell. Even better, is the fact that players can craft this crossbow anytime, regardless of whether they have a base weapon or not. This means players can always keep themselves stacked with a crossbow, and the Gust of Wind is the best there is.
The weapon fires at a decent speed, and its strength is almost unparalleled when it comes to ranged weapons that fire arrows and bolts. Using the Gust of Wind is a great alternative to guns, especially since it won’t alert hordes and other hostile enemies looking to loot or feast.

Players can obtain the blueprint to craft this weapon fairly early into the game. In fact, as long as they have the Volatile Hunter DLC pack, it’s theirs! However, players will still need to find the necessary materials and the right weapon to craft it. However, since it provides players with both burning and electric effects, it’s certainly worth investing into, and a constant blueprint that will see an addictive use because of its capabilities.
Enemies won’t dare get close, and to those stupid enough, or zombie enough, they’re going to be burnt rotting bacon. There’s nothing cooler than a zombie slayer with a sword, andDying Lightgoes the extra mile by allowing players to have some special effects on a weapon that requires hardly any time to grind on harder difficulties for random drops.

The reason baseball bats are useful is because of their common rarity. They can be found and purchased from almost anywhere, and they certainly always pack a punch. Baseball bats can be used against all enemies, and players should always swing for the head for a home run.

This DLC pack is included inDying Light: Definitive Edition, meaning all players can use this blueprint, and even better still, it does not need a base weapon, so players can have a constant stream of crafted shotguns, provided they have ammo to fill it.
Players will need4 Metal Parts,1 Duct Tape,4 Nails,1 Battery,1 Tin Can,and1 Electronics, and then the Hellbeast is theirs. The Hellbeast may not shoot fire, as the name would imply, but it’s a very powerful shotgun and is great at taking out larger enemies, but its loudness can attract theterrifying wailsof the undead.

This weapon can be obtained through2 Metal Parts,2 Chemicals,and1 Electronics. For an early-game weapon, the Volatile Hunter Baton is more than sufficient and can be taken very far into the game without the need for further upgrades.
7Gonunaba

Most fans of survival games love hacking and slashing zombie hordes with a sword. A katana is perhaps the coolest blade one can have when it comes to slaying zombies. The Gonunaba is the ultimate katana and has become the most desired and sought-after katana of them all inDying Light.
This fast-slashing weapon can cut down foes like they’re paper, and stamina will not be an issue. However, this weapon may not be worth the time, as it has an extremely low spawn rate in Hard Mode (0.1%), and only a 1% spawn ratein Nightmare, and that’s just for the Harran Prison.
6EXPcalibur
How to Get: Hold The Action Button To 2-3 Minutes On The Sword In The Stone Located Near Fisherman’s Village
This weapon is a unique legendary sword that can be found on the island near the Fisherman’s village. Obtaining the weapon is its challenge, butdifficulty shouldn’t serve too much of an issue, as players must hold down the action butter for 2 to 3 minutes without letting go, and then they will unsheathe the blade for their inventory usage.
The sword itself cannot be repaired but has a high amount of damage. It can also be crafted, but only as a silver variant, that has less damage and fewer abilities. It’s a clear reference to King Arthur’s blade Excalibur.
5Fenris Axe

Some weapons inDying Lightare locked behind unique challenges. One such weapon is the almighty Fenris Axe. The Bloodlust Bounty is the mission that players must complete to claim this weapon as a reward. The bounty involves the player having to cut off three heads in one swing, 30 times.
The beauty of the Fenris Axe comes from its power, and blood lust. With each kill, the weapon becomes stronger and deals more damage each time an enemy has a limb severed thanks to the axe. For players to know if it’s working, simply watch the axe glow.
4Rune Hammer
Another melee weapon, the Rune Hammer is noted for its aura and unique design on its front. It may fool players into seeming like a simple sledgehammer, but it is far from it. The Rune Hammer can easily strike for over 7,000 damage with the right mods and Power skills at the ready, making a fool of eventhe Demolisher types.
The Rune Hammer can be quite the achievement in itself to obtain, as it is no easy task. As a fantasy weapon, players will need to do some Harran Prison runs on Nightmare mode to get a chance to have the powerful two-handed weapon.
3Harran Ranger Bow

With the Harran Ranger’s Pack, the Harran Ranger Bow was released to players. This weapon deals a base damage of 400 per shot, with a single upgrade slot ready and waiting. The Ranger Bow is the best bow for its use early in the game.
This unique weapon can act as a stealth tool, as it is silent, and features a scope for accuracy. It’s always fun to see bows in video games, as it brings players back to a more primitive time, in which a machine that fires hot led was not king.
