It could be utilizingElden Ring’s Death Blight status effector just putting much of their time into magic, but there will be a variety of builds found when going up against invaders in the game.
InElden Ring, besides the usual Flask of Crimson Tears and Cerulean Tears, there’s a flask that can be found called the Flask of Wondrous Physick. This flask allows players to combine specific tears that cause effects like extra healing or boosting resistance stats, giving players many more options to customize their build. However, there are a couple of tears known as Ruptured Crystal Tears, which cause the concoction in the flask to explode and thus giving the player the ability to turn themselves into a bomb. This effect can be increased with a wider range and higher holy damage with the insertion of another Ruptured Crystal Tear.

One player decided to take this and make it into their build, becoming a living bomb to use against the players wandering The Lands Between. In a post on Reddit, one user called TheBlackSwordsman uploaded a video of a montage of them taking on a variety of players in PvP as an invader utilizing a Ruptured Crystal Tear build, laughing every time they run up to players and explode. The build is surprisingly effective since there is no way topull off a perfectly timed parry on thisElden Ringinvader, making defeating closed-in groups of players with the explosion and winning the match easy.
In the comments, many players laugh along with the poster over the hilarious kills that this build has wrought. One user asks what the build is, and the poster explains that, since the explosion is holy-based, putting many points into faith is what they did. However, they also say that theElden Ringplayers with a lot of vigorwould survive, so they would go after the ones with less vigor, usually in the earlier areas of the game.
More and more, players ofElden Ringwill find new ways to make PvP a more interesting place, either through cleverhiding spots to ambush players in the Lake of Rotor silly builds that while comedic are also quite effective. WithElden Ring’s expansion coming up, there are bound to be new ways to make ridiculous builds with the new weapons, magic, and armor that will be added to the game, further expandingElden Ring’s huge customizability to a greater level.
