Start The Main Questline For The Morrowind Chapter
TheMorrowindChapter forElder Scrolls Onlineserves as the beginning of the Daedric War arc for the MMO, a storyline that would continue into theClockwork CityDLC and theSummersetChapter. TheMorrowindChapter is free for allElder Scrolls Onlineplayers, and access to Vvardenfell is not tied to having an ESO Plus subscription oran in-game purchase.
To get started with theMorrowindchapter for ESO, head to a capital city (Wayrest, Anvil, Mournhold) and head to the docks to take a boat. Though not RP-friendly, players can also warp straight to Seyda Neen on the southwest coast of the island. To start the introductory quest “Divine Conundrum”, players can either head to the DLC Stories tab under Collections or look for an NPC in Seyda Need who can start the quest in a more organic way.

The Census and Excise office is there, there’s a Wood Elf where Fargoth can usually be found, and there’s even a Silt Strider at the edge of town. Check In On Familiar Locations Like Balmora, and Familiar Characters like Vivec
In addition to Seyda Neen there are plenty of other locations throughout Vvardenfell thatElder Scrolls III: Morrowindfans will recognize, like Balmora, Ald’ruhn, Vivec City, and many more. This version of Vvardenfell is set in the second era of Tamriel, which places it close to the height of the Tribunal’s rule over the Dark Elves.
In every otherElder Scrollsgame the Living Gods of the Dark Elves were far from at their height of power, so lore nerds will be thrilled to explore Morrowind before any of the catastrophes of the future.In the base game, players meet Almalexia, and in theClockwork CityDLC players meet Sotha Sil. TheMorrowindChapter lets players meet Vivec as well in a story that mirrors the events of the thirdElder Scrollsgame.
Get Started On Daily Quests And Ancestral Tomb Hunting
Many of the armor sets, styles, cosmetics, and other rewards for completingMorrowindChapter Daily Quests arehighly sought-after, some because they can only be acquired in these reward coffers and nowhere else. There are two places players can do Daily Quests in theMorrowindChapter: the Ald’ruhn Camp, for the Ashlanders, and in Vivec City, for the Morag Tong.

There are a number of Ancestral Tombs scattered throughout Vvardenfell, and if players can find all 30 and give rubbings of each to the Vivec City librarian, a unique questline unlocks - one that rewards a furnishing replica of Vvardenfell and a title.
Unlock The Vivec City Wayshrine - It’s Just Too Convenient
Before taking on anything else intheMorrowindESO Chapter, make your way to Vivec City. From Seyda Neen take the road to the west that leads to the southern-central point of Vvardenfell. The road should lead you to a Wayshrine just outside a major crafting hub.
This crafting hub is considered by many players to be the most convenient in the entire game. It’s extremely close to the Wayshrine, has every Crafting station, a Bank, and tons of Guild Vendors just outside the north entrance. If you plan to do any crafting during your adventures in Vvardenfell, discovering the Vivec City Wayshrine should be priority number 1.
