How to Get the Wailing Blade
The Wailing Blade is a powerful melee weapon with a base damage of 14 and a max durability of 160. The good news is that you can get your hands on this powerful sword early in your journey, as the hideouts are conveniently located near the starting area of the game.
The Wailing Blade is hidden in a chest lying in a small cave, Scavenger Stash. you may access this cave via two routes, either by heading South of the Alchemist Ancient Vault or from the Springlands Ancient Spire. It would be a good idea to get this blade while you are on your journeyto unlock the Alchemist.
If you choose the path from the Springlands Ancient Spire, glide westward until you see a mine marking the entrance to your target cave. Upon entering the cave, you will confront three vigilant scavengers guarding the cave. Eliminating them can be challenging, especially with the traps set for you. Therefore, you should be careful and try using them to your advantage by leading the guards into them. Using along-range weapon, such as the Fell Commander Bow, can help you deal damage from a safe distance.
Once you’ve cleared the path and entered the cave, you’ll find a treasure chest on a wooden platform in the middle of the cave. Simply open this chest and claim the Legendary Wailing Blade. While this sword boasts impressive stats on its own, you can further upgrade it to maximize its effectiveness. Keep an eye out for other chests in the cave, as they might containuseful resources like metal scrapsand animal fur.
