10Adela
Adela the strategy queen treats thebattlefield as her chessboard, quite literally, as she summons chess pieces to do her bidding. Adela is a popular character used by many players ofEternal Return, and although she fits into the support category, many of her abilities focus on increasing both her own speed and damage as well as making her near invincible.
Depending on what chess pieces are on her metaphorical board, players that use Adela have the chance to stun or slow their opponent for a few seconds. This is more than enough time for an ally to swoop in and help take down the enemy.
9Leon
Although Leon is more of a brawler character due to his lack of healing abilities, this surfer still plays a significant role as a support for allies. As a swimmer, many of Leon’s abilities involve water. He has the power to dive into the pools of water that are dropped through enemies and allies to travel short distances and get closer to his foes.
This water can also be used as a shield, as Leon can actively target allies after getting 5 hits to temporarily protect an ally from taking any further damage. He also has the power to knock back enemies with his abilities, which may help others get hits on them.
8Sissela
Sissela hasquite a sad storyas she suffers from a disease that remains to be incurable. Her lines are just as upsetting as she questions if she should survive, but her survival is important so that her allies may live on also. Similar to Leon, Sissela doesn’t have any direct healing abilities, as many of her own skills damage her health, making her quite a challenge to play as.

She relies on her ghost ball Wilson to support both herself and her allies, as he is the one that makes all the attacks. Her main support ability is through her skill “Play With Us” where Wilson can either pull a target closer or when targeting an ally it gives them a temporary shield for three seconds.
7Adina
As an astrologer, Adina uses the power of the stars and her reliance on fate itself to charge her abilities. Accompanied by her crystal ball, Adina has a select number of celestial signs she can use, which are chosen at random through the ball. Allies of Adina inEternal Returnwill also have to rely on fate for their heals, as these celestial signs can also give them support.
Different abilities use the signs in different ways, such as matching two signs to leave behind a nebula that heals allies, or players making their allies unstoppable by casting Astral Trine using the star celestial sign. This can make Adina a difficult character to play when looking out for specific signs to use.
6Nathapon
Unlike other supports, a lot of Nathapon’s abilities benefit him more than his allies. Armed with his trusty camera, Nathapon can set them up around the map to take snapshots of enemies to better locate them for his allies.
The flash of these pictures can also slow down enemies, allowing the player’s team to catch up with fleeing opponents and attack. Overall, Nathapon may not appear asthe most useful supportdue to his distance from his allies, but food is something all players can craft for themselves if needed.
5Priya
Priya has a magical singing voice. It is so powerful that she is able to grow flowers and trees just by singing while accompanied by her weapon of choice, a guitar. Many of her abilities cause her to grow plants that will damage her opponent by growing flowers at their feet.

It isn’t all about damage, as Priya can target these blossomed flowers of Saraswati to shield her allies or heal them for a fraction of their health. This makes her quite the durable healer in group combat while still causing damage to enemies that touch the same flowers.
4Xiukai
Food is an incredibly useful mechanic inEternal Return. Crafting a variety of dishes can increase the health of the player, as well as beverages that increase the SP of the character. Players that see themselves as quite the culinary expert will love playing Xiukai, as all food and beverages he makes increase recovery by 30%.
Handing out thesedelicious mealsto allies is sure to keep them alive, as this boost may save them in a moment between life and death. Players will want to be crafting these dishes anyway, as each meal buffs Xiukai, increasing his overall defense.
3Barbara
Every game should have a character strapped with a turret of some sort. Barbara is no different as she relies heavily on her sentry gun. This engineer is great for setting up shop somewhere and holding down a position with the rest of the team.

Barbara and her turret can lay down covering fire while the player’s allies are looting. Her Turret also has abilities that allow her to slow down the approach of enemies, meaning a direct approach from opponents will probably not end well for them.
2Johann
As a priest, Johann is by far one of the most supportive characters players can use when surviving inEternal Return. Even his passive grants a shield to all his allies when getting a kill or an assist on opponents.
Due to his faith,this holy light is both a weaponto his enemies and a gift to his friends, as the majority of the priest abilities support allies through healing or slowing the enemy. This doesn’t make Johann completely defenseless, as he is still able to hold his own when trapped by himself.
1Cathy
Cathy is aclear example of a battle medic, with the occupation of a doctor she is not only great at saving lives but also knows how to take them. Players will enjoy her fast-paced combat as a nimble assassin, while also being able to get in quickly to revive fallen allies.
Reviving those that may have been downed during a skirmish has great buffs as she creates a zone of healing that assists the ally in recovering a fraction of their max health for a couple of seconds.
