13A Fresh Start
This mission takes place inOdysseyand has the player confront the last member of the Cult of Kosmos. When players go to the Sanctuary of Kosmos, they are greeted by the lover of Perikles, Aspasia. It is revealed she was behind the Cult of Kosmos and all of the missions the player was sent on.
Players can go through a dialogue tree, choosing to let Aspasia live or die. Afterwards, the protagonist destroys the device in the center of the Sanctuary of Kosmos. Without much fighting going on and with the choice of the player being open, it does not feel like a trueAssassin’s Creedending.

This is the final mission ofRogue,taking players to the Palace of Versailles in Paris. Shay Cormac goes to the Palace with Benjamin Franklin on a mission to retrieve an artifact. It also explains who was behind the assassination of Arno Dorian’s father at the beginning ofUnity.
The player is able to see a cameo of Arno as he plays with Élise through the Palace. This mission also lets players know who was the true mastermind behind the French Revolution.

11How Grand, Master Kenway!
Black Flag’sending is probably one of the more happier of the series. Edward Kenway is reunited with his daughter – who he never met – and sails back for London with her. The only real gameplay for this memory is sailing back to England, with the rest of the memory being cutscenes.

It is revealed that Edward remarried and had a son, Haytham. It would seem Edward has a happy life after killing all of his targets and leaving a life of piracy behind. Sadly, it does not last and Edward is killed by people who break into his home.
10Fall of an Empire, Rise of Another
This is a memory fromOriginsthat shows the assassination of Julius Caesar. Players play as Aya as she sneaks through Rome on her way to Caesar. It starts as a ship battle, where the player must destroy a couple of ships.
After making it to Rome, Aya must fight and kill Septimius before she can continue on. After making it to the Senate, Aya is prompted to stab Caesar after confronting him. This will cause the other senators to join in, recreating the assassination of Caesar before the player’s eyes.

9Assassination (Al Mualim)
The last memory for the firstAssassin’s Creedgame requires the player to kill the Assassin Mentor,Al Mualim. After killing all of the main targets of the game, it is revealed that Al Mualim betrayed the order and used the Apple of Eden to his advantage.
The player has to fight the former Master Assassin, bringing an end to his life. After defeating the master, Altaïr cannot bring himself to destroy the Apple of Eden, keeping it for himself. This also meant that Altaïr had become the Mentor of the Levantine Assassins.

8In Bocca Al Lupo
The end ofAssassin’s Creed IIbrings Ezio to Rome. The Grand Master of the Templars, Rodrigo Borgia, became Pope Alexander VI and brought the Staff of Eden to the Vatican with him. This memory has Ezio sneak into the Vatican to take back the staff, but he spares Rodrigo Borgia.

Ezio then enters the Vault, meeting Minerva who introduces the First Civilization. He gets to watch the history of mankind unfold in front of him, becoming confused as it is revealed Minerva was talking to Desmond Miles all along. The game then ends, setting up for the sequel.
7Erudito
Erudito is the true ending ofLiberation,being unlocked after killing Citizen E. Players might think the game ends with Aveline joining the Templar Order, but this was a trick by Abstergo to make the Templars look good. In reality, Aveline fought the Templars and killed the Master.
It is revealed the Master Templar is Aveline’s stepmother. The player fights in a small church, fending off guards as they go after the Master. Aveline will take the Prophecy Disk and watch a message that was recorded by the First Civilization.

6A Seed
The final memory forBrotherhoodtechnically takes place before the fight between Ezio and Cesare Borgia. Despite this, A Seed is the last memory the player plays in the game. Ezio hides the Apple of Eden underneath the Santa Maria in Aracoeli.
It ends with Ezio walking away from the Colosseum. This sets up for the modern-day mission where Desmond Miles and the team go and locate the Apple of Eden.

5Chasing Lee
The last memory ofAssassin’s Creed IIIhas Connor hunt down Charles Lee, the last Templar in Colonial America. It starts in Boston, where Connor goes to the Green Dragon Tavern, only to be told Lee is at the harbor. After chasing Lee through a burning ship, Connor shoots and injures Lee.

Connor finds Lee at a tavern in the frontier, where they share a drink together. Connor then stabs Lee and takes the amulet. Connor discovers his tribe has abandoned their village, so he travels to Davenport Homestead and buries the amulet in Connor Davenport’s grave.
4Inevitable Confrontation
The final mission in the alternate reality DLC,The Tyranny of King Washington,has players fight Connor’s former ally,George Washington. The player fights Washington on top of Washington’s palace, using the many abilities they gained to defeat him. After enough time, Connor and Washington will fall through the glass on the roof to the ground below.
After this, it will go back to the actual reality, showing Washington and Connor both holding the apple. Washington decides he does not want the apple, so Connor takes it and drops it into the ocean. The events of the DLC also revealed why Washington chose to make America a republic.
