Twitchis a streaming platform that has long enjoyed a large dominance over the streaming scene, with some of the biggest creators within the medium using the service as their go-to platform. However, as the service inexorably begins hosting a wider range of high-profile creators, more and more controversies begin to arise, and other aspiring platforms attempt to capitalize on the resulting tension.
A relatively new streaming service known as Kick is posing a serious threat toTwitch, with more and more Twitch streamers moving over full-time to Kick to enjoy its greater level of freedom and monetary incentives. With Kick being spearheaded by disgruntled streamers in its creation, it is no wonder that the service already boasts some huge creators that perviously had sworn allegiance to Twitch.

Trainwreckstv
One of the largest names toswap from Twitch to Kick is Trainwreckstv, a popular albeit controversial streamer that began life on the Twitch platform as early as 2015. Over the years, Trainwrecks had a strenuous relationship with Twitch, receiving numerous bans for different reasons before being in the center of large-scale drama surrounding on-stream gambling in 2021.
Adin Ross
Adin Ross is another high-profile figure that recently made the switch from Twitch to Kick. Like Trainwreckstv, Ross was considered a controversial figure on Twitch, having received a total of eight bans since 2020.
Ac7ionMan
While being lesser known than the likes of Adin Ross and Trainwreckstv, Ac7ionMan was a prominent Twitch streamer that has since moved over to Kick. Despite having close to 700,000 followers on Twitch, Ac7ionMan is another streamer that saw the benefits of Kick as too good to pass up.
Despite being known as a variety streamer, Ac7ionMan is another creator who has dipped his toes into gambling streams upon moving to Kick. The streamer has also been vocal aboutthe better revenue split that Kick offers to creators, and is becoming a growing presence on the fairly new platform.
Buddha
Buddha is a streamer that has become one of the leading figures oftheGTARP streaming scene. Commanding an audience of over 800,000 on Twitch, Buddha briefly moved over to Kick to great success earlier in the year.
Despite this, it appears that Buddha’s contractual obligations to organizations like TSM, who are affiliated with Twitch, meant that the creator had to return to Twitch shortly after making this change. With Buddha now fully returning to Twitch, many fans are assuming that the streamer will move back over to Kick once his legal obligations run their course. Given the relative infancy of Kick, the amount of high-profileTwitchstreamers that it has already attracted is staggering, and the list is only likely to grow as the service becomes more established.
