Fall Guysdeveloper Mediatonic has been consistent with its updates for the popular battle royale game, and it seems like the studio has made some more fan-requested changes. A new patch for the game that went live last night has made the newestFall Guysstages more prevalent, something fans have asked for since the beginning of season 2.
Fall Guys’ newest stagesinclude an intense new race called Knight Fever, which has quickly become one of the hardest levels in the game, and the well-designed but frustrating Wall Guys mini-game. Along with Egg Siege and Hoopsie Legends, the four games are designed to shake things up for long-time players. The stages can only succeed in doing that if they are being played, however, so Mediatonic’s new update to make them appear in the rotation more often is a wise one.

Another change within theFall Guysupdate sees something tweaked in the opposite way of the medieval maps, as nameplates and nicknames will become less prevalent in the item shop going forward. While the addition of player cards and titles has been well-received, the items were becoming a bit too prevalent within the in-game shop. ThenewFall Guysseason 2 costumesshould be easier for players to acquire now, as nameplates and nicknames should only be seen occasionally as opposed to all the time with the game’s store.
The last major note provided with the update is that thenewFall Guysshow Slime Survivorsis officially part of the game. While players may initially read the title and think that it only includes slime climb, rest assured that the mode offers a variety ofFall Guys’ survival stages. The final stages offered are Jump Showdown and the game’s most popular level, Hex-A-Gone. With a good lineup of popular stages, Slime Survivors is likely to become a popular show among the game’s fans.
Mediatonic recently promised that there will bemany more experimental modes inFall Guysgoing forward. Gauntlet Showdown was the first new show to joinFall Guys, with the special mode offering only the game’s races as playable stages. The only downside of the mode is that it has only one final stage in Fall Mountain, an issue Slime Survivors seems to rectify. With no new final showdown being present among season 2’s medieval stages, an experimental mode with only the new stages seems unlikely.
Regardless, players should be climbing castle walls inFall Guysmore often going forward. With Mediatonic also promisingauto-spectating and stage redesigns in aFall Guysupdatesome time down the road, the future seems bright for the adorable collection of party games.
