Fall Guysseems like it’s finally over the hurdle that it was facing last weekend. For those who may not know, the game faced crippling server issues last week leading tothe officialFall GuysTwitter apologizing.

Thankfully, all signs point toFall Guys’ servers being in working order after the weekend fiasco. Now,Fall Guysis getting a small update to introduce a brand new final mini-game called Jump Showdown to shake up the final rotation.

As mentioned before, the server issues forFall Guyswas a real problem for players on PS4 and PC. Now that the issues seems to be remedied,Fall Guysis rewarding playersas an apology for the server issues with free in-game currency and a free legendary costume. It’s a nice gesture to fans who stuck out the hardships and are continuing to enjoy the game despite the network issues during launch week. Now, Mediatonic is releasing a patch that adds a brand new final showdown mini-game toFall Guys.

Jump Showdown is pretty different from the other final showdown mini-games, other than the fact that the last guy standing wins. Jump Showdown involves a revolving set of tubes that rotate around a circular platform. Players need to jump over and under the tubes while avoiding the wedge-shaped platforms that disappear over time. While the game is still pretty much brand new, it’s nice to see Mediatonic immediately putting in work to add new gameplay content. The team seems enthusiastic about expanding the game,even confirming cross-play is in development.

TheFall Guys1.05 update is available for players to download now. The update obviously adds Jump Showdown to the final mini-game rotation, but it also adds a handful of other things and tweaks some gameplay issues.The update adds the legendary prickles skinthat was added as an apology for server issues, along with 5,000 kudos. The update also tweaks some things like improved messaging in when making parties and matchmaking, as well as correcting physics issues and other glitches.

Hopefully, this first update is a good sign for things to come, asFall Guysis already massively popular.Fall Guyssold 2 million Steam copiesin just its first week, which probably had a big hand in the server issues the game experienced. The game is a smash hit across Steam and PS4, in large part thanks to the game being one of the free PS Plus games for August. With any luck, Mediatonic can keep up the incredible momentum that Fall Guys has right now.
