Fallout 76has come a long way since its disastrous launch, with Bethesda working hard to add substantial new content to the game while simultaneously addressing fan complaints.Fallout 76is in a much better state now than it’s ever been, and the new content shows no signs of slowing down. Bethesda has recently outlined its plans forFallout 76in 2022, releasing a handy new roadmap to give fans an idea of what to expect in the year ahead.
It seems thatFallout 76fans can expect four major updates for the game in 2022, one for each season. Things will get started in the spring with Invaders from Beyond, whereinFallout 76players will find themselves at odds with aliens and otherworldly robots. This will include new public events, an update toFallout Worlds, and the start of Season 8, which is entitled A Better Life Underground.

TheFallout 76summer content is called Test Your Metal, and it seems like it will primarily be focused on new public events. TheFallout 1st scoreboardwill also be getting an update as part of the summer content, and it will be joined by Season 9, though details on what exactly that will entail have yet to be revealed.
The fall will bring perhaps the most exciting update forFallout 76in all of 2022, as players can look forward toExpeditions: The Pitt. This update will take players out ofFallout 76’s Appalachia mountains and to The Pitt, an area that was previously featured inFallout 3. Players will be able to complete a variety of missions while exploring post-apocalyptic Pittsburgh, not to mention have access to new rewards and enjoy the Season 10 content that will coincide with it all.
And finally, the winter time update inFallout 76is called Nuka-World on Tour. Seemingly based on theFallout 4Nuka-World DLC, this update will see Nuka-World make its way to Appalachia. Like with the other updates, theFallout 76winter update will bring with it new public events and a new season, but it will also include a special region boss public event for players to tackle as well.
Needless to say, there’s a lot forFallout 76fansto look forward to in 2022. Hopefully it all works to continue improving the game and bringing it up to the standards that fans can expect from Bethesda titles.
