Fallout 76is known for having multiple seasons throughout the year. Each season usually lasts around three months or so, and during it, players will be able to see tons of new items and exciting moments in the game.
The latest season, Season 16, is based on the Jersey Devil and is titled “Duel with the Devil.” It started at the end of March and will end around the end of June. Here is everything that players need to know about the season and its ending date.

What Is Season 16?
As mentioned above, this season is about the Jersey Devil. This season will continue the story of Rip Daring, who is the one players helped in the “Rip Daring and the Cryptid Hunt” season, which was Season 12. The story follows Rip as he hunts for the Jersey Devil, one of the many cryptidsthat haunt the game. This specific cryptid is found in the Atlantic City portion of the game, which can beunlocked via Expeditions.
This season changed quite a few things, like implementing a new S.C.O.R.E. mechanic. Instead of having a scoreboard, players will now rank up by gaining enough S.C.O.R.E. (earned by completing challenges and quests in the game) and then will gain 25 Tickets for each rank they earn. The Tickets can then be exchanged for items such as skins, C.A.M.P. items, and currency. For an entire list of the things that can be unlocked via the Tickets, check out Bethesda’s website.

When Does Season 16 End?
Bethesda hasn’t given an exact date for the ending of Season 16, but the game’s community calendar (shown above) gives players a good indication of the end date. The company mentioned earlier in the year that they would be releasing anew expansion with Season 17 called theSkyline Valley. This means that once Season 16 ends, players will be treated with the new expansion in the game.
Considering the community calendar mentions the Skyline Valley update and Season 17 in the June section of the calendar, it can be assumed that the update will be happening as soon as the community calendar ends (which isJuly 2nd). With Season 15, Bethesda had the final day on the community calendar as March 25, and Season 16 and Atlantic City came out the very next day, on March 26th. Since this is how Bethesda has been doing things for a while, players can assume they will get access to Season 17 on July 2nd, and Season 16 will end the day before, on July 1st.
