Bethesda Softworks has maintained a dedicatedFalloutfollowing since the first game was released in 1997, and each title has its own community, includingFallout 3. OneFallout 3fan has decided to celebrate the RPGs Brotherhood of Steel with unique wooden wall art.

Reddit user Markhizio recently shared a gallery of images showing their wooden Brotherhood of Steel wall art from multiple angles to highlight the intricate details. The Brotherhood of Steel is among the factions featured inFallout 3like The Enclave, Brotherhood Outcasts, and Ghouls, but unlike the others, Markhizio’s chosen faction adorned the game’s cover.Fallout 3players may join the Brotherhood of Steel themselves by following the main story to the point where the faction is introduced and then following their storyline of quests.

Markhizio’sFallout 3Brotherhood of Steelwooden wall art features the iconic cover art image of the game’s power armor shown from the upper chest and above. Just like theFallout 3cover, a large chunk of the Brotherhood of Steel wall art is colored black, while it swaps the toxic shade of green used in the official art for lighter grays and white. The shading of the wall art is similar to the techniques used for the cover art, while other parts of it stand out more due to portions with wood popping out to create a 3D effect.

According to Markhizio, the Brotherhood of Steel design was hand-cut from the material wood using a scroll saw after presumably tracing an outline. The painting of theFallout 3decorated slab of wood was aided by Adobe Illustrator to adequately reflect the Brotherhood of Steel before using acrylic paint on the wall art. Because the paint colors they acquired didn’t properly reflect theFallout 3faction, Markhizio also noted that they “mixed all the colors” to create the aesthetic used in the wooden piece.

One comment on Markhizio’swall art suggested that the artist create a YouTube channel to show how they accomplish pieces like theFallout 3power armorbecause of how impressive the large wooden plaque is. ManyFallout 3fans have responded to Markhizio with enthusiasm, while a handful claimed that they’d be happy to buy one if he’s willing to recreate the process. Because Markhizio has reached out to these Reddit users for contact, theFallout 3fan may be receiving commissions to replicate the wall art.

Fallout 3is available on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
