Moneda is a special type of currency inFar Cry 6that is used to buy special weapons or miscellaneous items at the black market.Far Cry 6has four different ways for players to get moneda, but some of these methods won’t be available until Dani has explored more of Yara.

Unlike pesos, moneda cannot be lootedoff enemies or gathered from green purses. If players want moneda, they can either do Bandido Operations, Co-op Missions, Special Operations, or Weekly Insurgencies.

Bandido Operations

The easiest way to get moneda without co-op is by doing Bandido Operations. Once Dani has left Isla Santuario and unlocked a Guerrilla Camp or Guerrilla Hideout, they can start Bandido Operations by inspecting the Bandidos Bulletin Board at camps or hideouts.

In the beginning, there will only be one Bandido Leader. To unlock more Bandido Leaders, complete operations or Yaran stories. There are 8 leaders with 2 skills each.

When selecting a Bandido Operation, players can see the Final Reward, one of which is moneda. Unfortunately, thefinal rewards are randomized, so it’s not always guaranteed Dani will receive moneda from doing them.

Co-op Missions

For those looking to partner up, co-op mode becomes available after the operation “Du or Die.” Pause the game and navigate to the top right Co-op symbol. Players can either invite friends (must be added in Ubisoft Connect), or Search For A Partner and be paired up with a stranger.

DoingCo-op Missions, such as liberating Checkpoints, will give the players moneda.

Special Operations

These are tasksgiven by Lola in Guerrilla Camps. This means players must startone ofFar Cry 6’s main quests: “Meet the Monteros,” “Meet Maximas Matanzas,” or “Meet the Legends.” After this, they can find Lola and speak to her to start Special Operations. These are missions that will take Dani to a different part of Yara not accessible in the main campaign. They will need to find the timed PG-240X and deliver it back to Lola.

If players want to get more moneda, they shouldplay Special Operations in co-op mode.

Weekly Insurgencies

After beatingFar Cry 6, players will have access to Insurgency Mode. Every week, a region of Yara will end up under control by Castillo loyalists. The only way to clear the insurgency is by doing a list of tasks. This can be destroying 10 air canons before the deadline or capturing FND bases.

Once Dani has enough moneda, they can go to the black market. Weapons and items found at the black marketcannot be found in the main campaignor looted from FND Caches.

Far Cry 6is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
