There are many modes of transportation inFar Cry 6and the game makes it easier than ever to obtain a ride simply by summoning one from the selection wheel. There’s undoubtedly an almost endlesslist of cool vehiclesto use the game from quad bikes to tanks but the most useful are the horses.

The horse can cover most terrains with easeand make exploring the map inFar Cry 6a breeze. They are also great at getting to high vantage points to help Dani scan a base, mark targets, and snipe out enemies with ease. In addition tothe wild horses like Madrugardian Horsewhich can also be found early in the game, there are tamed horses bred for the military like theSpanish Marchador
Where To Find The Spanish Marchador
The Spanish Marchador is a powerful horse that can be found early in the game at thePrado Meadows on Isla Santuario. Even though wild horses like the Madrugardian can be captured by using the scanning device on Dani’s phone, that isn’t the case for the Spanish Marchador. This is because it’sclassified as a “military vehicle”. When attempting to scan the horse the player will get the message “Can’t scan military vehicles”.
As a result, the player needs to approach it andmount the horse by pressing the Xon the Xbox or theSquare buttonon the PlayStation. As it’s a tamed horse, the Marchador is used to human contact so there isno sneaking requiredthis time.
The Fastest Way To Obtain The Marchador
There may be occasions where Dani will randomly encounter Castillo’s military personnel patrolling the area on a Spanish Marchador. In this case, just take down the enemy, steal his horse and ride it to the nearest Horse Pick Up point.
However, a surefire way of obtaining the Spanish Marchador early is by working through theLibertad Risesmission. Doing so will take Dani to amilitary-occupied Anti-Aircraft site in Iotaon the Cayo Seguro Penninsula region of Prado Meadows.

There should be several unmanned Spanish Marchador horses dotted around the base ready for the taking.
The player will then need to ride the horse to thenearest Horse Pickup pointon the map. Thankfully, there is one in the area justnorth of the Santuario WetlandsorSouth of where Dani disarmed the Anti Aircraft Site Iota.
Unfortunately, the Spanish Marchador has a uniform color of black and doesn’t have any customizable coats like the default La Palmera and Madrugadian horses. However, it’s still a worthy additionto the collectionfor completists.
