Fort Solisrepresents the screen debut for game developer Fallen Leaf studios. A narrative-focussed psychological thriller,Fort Solisputs players in the shoes of Jack Leary and Jessica Appleton, a pair of engineers responding to an alarm on the Martian colony. With the station seemingly abandoned, Jack must investigate clues until it is revealed that a psychopathic killer is on the loose within Fort Solis.
By Chapter 3, Jack has been captured and players now operate as Jessica. Having entered Fort Solis thanks to a door-cutting tool, she is tasked with ending the lockdown protocolin order to make all areas of the base accessible. to do so, she must make her way to the Comms Hub, located next to the Atrium on the opposite side from the Maintenance Unit. In order to enter the Comms Hub she must first remove a piece of debris from the storm which is blocking the main entrance. This can be done using a nearby winch to pull the debris away.

Having entered the Comms Hub, Jessica will then find that the main computer does not provide sufficient access to override the lockdown. Next, she must descend the stairway into the Server Room where she finds a dead man with a severed arm. Using this arm, she is able to unlock the nearby terminal which presentsa puzzle players must solvein order to progress. The computer will display the numbers25, 28, 23, 25, 39. Players may notice that each one of the servers in the Server Room is numbered from 020-039.
By solving the requisite puzzle associated with each terminal, players can then clear this section of the code, but the sequence must be completed in the order that it is presented in order for it to work. Getting one of these numbers in the sequence wrongwill cause a massive headacheas it then requires players to start the sequence from the beginning again. Especially given that not all aisles between the servers are accessible from both sides, this can add almost double the time it would normally take to complete this mission.
The Puzzle
As for the servers themselves, each will have a small panel displayed next to it where Jessica can interact with it. Every single one of the servers will have one, even those that aren’t in the code sequence. Players should keep this in mind and double check to verify they are definitely interacting with the right control panel before proceeding. When the panel opens, a small square will appear in the middle of the screen with four lines moving to and from it in sequence.
Bytiming the button-pressat the right moment, players can then trigger this server to unlock. Sometimes the timing can be tricky, but generally it is best to wait for the square in the center to fill and then reacting to it, rather than trying to time the lines in advance. With the servers unlocked in the correct sequence, players will then gain access to the Level 4 keycard, which will provide them access to the Maintenance Unit and the Canteen, where they can find the ID of Adam Hoskins to give them Level 5 access.
