For week 8 inFortnite, players have a wide range of objectives, from dealing damage with assault rifles from over 30 meters, throwing a fish into water, destroying structures with a ripsaw launcher, and more. One in particular challenges players with gathering 3 Forageables, but what are they, and how can they be gathered?
How to Gather Forageables
For anyone that has playedFortniteat any length, the art of foraging isn’t terribly cryptic. Technically, foraging for items or gear around the map is essentially interacting with or opening anything on the map including ammo crates, treasure chests, coolers, and everything else.
However, for this specific challenge,Fortniteplayers will need to forage vegetablesand other items. Thankfully, they’re located all over the Fortnite island, though there are specific locations which have more veggies to gather than others and therefore make better locations to land.

Where to Find Specific Forageables
Unsurprisingly, players will generally want to avoid the desert to the South and snow in the Northwest sections of the map due to the much lower availability of veggies in these locations.
Keep in mind, that players should select the gather option when finding these items as consume won’t count towards this total, even though it’ll provide some benefit such as healing or shields. Finish off this challenge by collecting three to earn a hefty sum of XP to put towards the current seasonal battle pass.
Fortniteis free-to-play for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
