Fortnitekeeps its massive player base not only because of its winning formula, but for its near-constant stream of patches, hotfixes, and updates that regularly keep its content fresh and exciting. According to a new leak, another new item will soon be arriving on the island, called Pizza Party.
Epic Games' ever-popular free-to-play battle royale franchise is roughly midway through its first season of Chapter 3. The currentFortniteseason has seen a particularly high volume of content, with plenty of unique items, game mechanics, andcrossover skins likeLeague of Legends' Viregularly added to the game.

Longtime players ofFortniteare likely familiar with the Uncle Pete’s Pizza Pit POI, which has persisted throughout many of the island’s iterations. However, the fictional pizza chain has curiously never had any edible pizza - until now. Revealed by reputableFortniteleaker and dataminer HYPEX, the new Pizza Party item lets players carry around an entire pizza, or even a slice or two.Fortnite’s Pizza Party contains eight slices total, which simultaneously heal 25 health and shield per slice. Players can only carry one box per slot, and must throw it down to access the slices. Pizza slices themselves are two per slot, and restore up to 50 shield.
According to HYPEX, the Pizza Party item will be included in the regular loot pool, and can also be purchased from the Tomatohead NPC located in the newly accessible Tilted Towers POI. The new food follows a trend of non-weapon items this season, including the versatile Tents and more recently, the Shield Keg. Added a few weeks ago,Fortnite’s Shield Keg itemacts as more of a shield fountain, spraying in the immediate area when thrown for long enough to get shields from zero to full in a matter of seconds. However, it can’t restore health like Pizza Party.
In addition to regularly adding content to its primary battle royale mode,Fortniteis also offering players unique, non-combative experiences. Last week,FortniteCreativerevealed the KAWS art exhibit. Based on the real-world “KAWS NEW FICTION” exhibit currently in London’s famous Serpentine North Gallery, the experience features original works of the prolific contemporary artist as they appear in real life. Players will see versions of KAWS' Companion character, which also exists as aFortniteskin.
Fortnite’s new Pizza Party item is expected to drop on January 25th, and will likely become a fan favorite. There are rumors thatcertain pizza-loving and crime-fighting turtlesare coming to the game, which would be an undoubtedly “radical” pairing.
