Fortniteis no stranger to collaborations. Ever since the game crossed over withAvengers: Infinity Warto bring fans a playable Thanos complete with the Infinity Gauntlet,Fortnitehas gone on to cross over with a myriad of other IPs, brands, and even celebrities. However, for quite some time now, Epic Games has been teasing seemingly one of the most anticipated crossovers yet.
Just beforeFortniteChapter 2 Season 6 officially launched, the game’s official social media accounts began to post teasers showing glowing red eyes accompanied only by text that read “shhh…” Upon Season 6’s release, this was revealed to be part of a collaboration withworld-famous soccer player Neymar Jr.,and while the skin finally releases on April 27, it seems images of it and its accompanying cosmetic items have leaked online.

The news comes by way of SpanishFortnitenews and leaks Twitter account ESFortniteBR, which posted the official renders for the Neymar Skin, its different styles, as well as its respective Glider, Pickaxe, Back Bling, Toy Emote, and Loading Screen. Fans can now see that it looks like the red eyes being teased prior to Season 6’s release belonged to the beastly-looking armored version of the skin.
Two of the skin’s variants seem to call back to Neymar’s Brazilian heritage, carrying a blue, yellow, and green motif, while the other variants seem more stylized, with one in a slick black and an armored version in deep red and blue. As for the other cosmetic items, the Gliders and Pickaxes have similar color variations as the armored skins, while the Loading Screen featuresNeymar Jr. himselfalong with the armored skin. The Back Bling looks to resemble a World Cup trophy, while the lone golden soccer ball shown off seems to be a special Toy Emote.
The Neymar Jr. skin will not appear inFortnite’s item shop, but is instead this season’s secretBattle Pass skin.Right now, it is unclear if players will need to reach a certain tier in the Battle Pass to unlock Neymar Jr. in-game, but it is likely that players will simply need to complete a set of challenges to obtain the skin, its styles, and its various cosmetic items.
The skin looks to be garnering an overwhelmingly positive reaction from fans on social media, with many calling it the best secret Battle Pass skin yet, and others finding themselves pleasantly surprised with how it turned out.
