While some fans will no doubt be excited about trying something new inFortnite, others will be sad to see the OG map go. Luckily for nostalgic fans, it’s been teased that theFortniteOG mapis coming back. The officialFortniteTwitter account recently tweeted thatFortniteOG has exceeded the team’s expectations so much that they want to bring it back in 2024. The exact date the OG map will return toFortnitewasn’t revealed by the tweet, but fans in the comments suggested that it returns once a year to celebrate the BR’s birthday. If Epic goes that route, theFortniteOG would come back around September in 2024, but the developers could have completely different plans, so fans should keep that in mind.
Time will tell if and when theFortniteOG map makes its comeback, but in the meantime, fans can look forward to Chapter 5. TheFortniteChapter 5 leaks have confirmed that the game’s movement system is getting another upgrade, a moving train is being added to the map alaCall of Duty: Warzone, and even more crossover skins are being added to the mix. Specifically, skins based onFamily Guy’s Peter GriffinandMetal Gear Solid’s Solid Snake are being added toFortniteas part of Chapter 5.
