Redditor LiamAcker02 shared their funny clip with theFalloutcommunity online. After finding a set of X-01power armor inFallout 4, they proceed to try and enter it. However, the game prevents this, and it’s only after a moment that the player realizes that a Brotherhood of Steel soldier has hijacked the suit of armor for themselves. In this clip, it isn’t clear how they can get the power armor back, with the player presuming it to be lost to the Brotherhood for good.
One player in the thread seemed to have the right solution. While it’s too late for this particular player, it was confirmed that shooting the fusion core causes the suit to explode after a brief delay. This causes the operator to leave the suit and run away, and doesn’t actually ruin the set of power armor. Although there are a few places tofind X-01 power armor inFallout 4, this funny clip is still a sad watch - hopefully, the player has managed to find another suit at this point in time.
It has been fun to watchFallout’s recent resurgence in the public eye. Thanks largely to the success of theFalloutTV show, gamers and non-gamers alike are showing a lot of interest in the franchise.
