These leaks are tagged as reliable, which means they will probably turn out to be true.
Genshin Impactversion 4.1 is now here, featuring a lot of fresh content like new events, weapons, and character banners. The five-star units Wriothesley and Neuvillette will be available to pick up during two banner stages, and players will explore two new Fontaine sections filled with formidable enemies. There are also story quests players can complete to progress in the Archon storyline, which require them to search for the imprisoned Childe in the Fontaine region.

Players will be able to accessGenshin Impact’s weekly bossesthrough a menu or button instead of visiting their domain entrances. Also, version 4.2 will bring a controversial feature that may cause some players to be banned for abnormal behavior. The leak doesn’t specifically reveal what counts as “abnormal behavior”, but players who intentionally use bugs should be worried about it.
ManyGenshin Impactplayers on the Reddit thread are concerned about what can be counted as abnormal behavior, with some jokingly saying that they will be banned for a vague reason. Some also suggested Hoyoverse add more quality-of-life features, including artifact loudouts, increased sensitivity for consoles, and dark mode. As the version 4.2 update approaches, more information about this “abnormal behavior” should be revealed in the near future.
