Genshin Impacthas officially revealed the three four-star characters that will be featured on the upcoming Limited Character Banner. Updates are usually divided into two parts that feature a different set of limited characters. Over the last couple of months, every banner cycle has featured two five-star characters and three four-stars.
The Special Program event forGenshin Impactversion 3.6 has previously confirmed that three five-star characters, Nahida, Nilou, and Ganyu, will receive a banner re-run in the upcoming update. According to the livestream, the first part of the update will feature Nahida and Nilou while the second banner cycle is reserved for Ganyu and the new Dendro character Baizhu.

Even though the focus of almost every new update is on the limited five-star characters,Genshin Impact’s recent Spiral Abyss reportshave revealed that some four-stars can be just as good, if not better in the current meta. Their main strength is the fact that they are much easier to acquire which allows players to build up their constellation levels. The game’s official Twitter account has finally revealed the three four-star characters that will appear in the first part of update 3.6. According to the post, the next update will feature the following characters:
A lot of players seem happy with the four-star lineup since all three characters are relatively new. This means that there is less chance for Travelers to acquire characters with maxed-out constellations. Dori and Layla both play an important role inGenshin Impact’s recent Sumeru storylinewhile Kuki Shinobu is tied to the Inazuma arc.
Dori is widely considered one of thebest battery supports inGenshin Impactdue to her ability to provide tons of Energy Recharge to the whole party. Layla is also a four-star support who arrived in the same update as the Dendro Archon Nahida. Her kit has great Cryo damage which makes her the go-to choice for teams that need a shielder that also provides decent elemental damage.
Kuki Shinobu has a similar playstyle thanks to her Elemental Skill, Sanctifying Ring, which creates a shield that restores HP and deals AoE Electro damage. Players who plan to get both Nahida and Nilou will have a great base for the Bloom party which has become a verypopular team composition inGenshin Impactover the last couple of months.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
