A post on theGod of Warsubreddit shares a beautiful artwork that depicts an encounter between the Prince and Kratos. The top-most comment mentions that they will probably fight for a bit, before joining forces together, as most crossover events do end up with the two main characters teaming up to fight a greater evil. Another user thinks that it depends entirely on the weapons and skills available to each, as Kratos will undoubtedly win in a standard fight, but the Prince does have the ability to manipulate time.
Other users have pointed out that Kratos has bested Kronos, the god of time, as well as the Sisters of Fate, who had full control of time. Fans on theGod of Warsubreddit are naturally leaning towards Kratos beating the Prince, but it would be fair to expect both characters to have a strong showing. Users generally agree that both Kratos and thePrince are over-powered in their respective franchises, and the outcome may depend upon the story surrounding this crossover event.
As fans wait for Kratos’ next game, Sony had earlier announced that 2018’sGod of Warwill release on PC on July 19, 2025.
