Rockstar Games released the remasteredGrand Theft Auto Trilogywith many notable performance issues, but it just received an update that addresses some of the lingering problems from its launch.

Fans have been waiting forGrand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Editionto receive fixes, and update 1.04 has brought several of them. A lot of game-crashing bugs have been addressed as part of the update. Improvements have also been made toGrand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Editionlocalization, making the trilogy more accessible forGTAfans.

Grand Theft Auto Trilogyplayers quickly noticed collision issues when the game was released, but Rockstar Games has largely fixed this issue. Camera-related problems, which were illustrated by a clip ofGrand Theft Auto San Andreasprotagonist CJ riding a bicycle, have been also been addressed with the newGTA Trilogyupdate.

Although Rockstar Games has noted that misplaced objects have also been addressed with update 1.04, it’s currently unclear if all misplaced objects have been properly placed in the remasteredGTA Trilogyor if only a portion of the problem was resolved. Additionally, incorrect and misplaced textures have been fixed with update 1.04, suggesting that the majority of the textural problems inGrand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Editionhave been resolved.

Similar to visual textures that update 1.04 fixed that didn’t translate well in the remastered trilogy, many of the displayed subtitles were incorrect prior to the recent update, but these issues have been resolved. In addition to the subtitle text that had issues inGTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition, the displayed help text also had issues from the launch that have been adjusted appropriately to giveGTAfans tips during loading.

WhenGrand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Editionwas released, a significant numbrt of problematic textures showed the project’s poor modernization. Included among the textures that didn’t translate well inThe Definitive Editionwas an improperly recreatedRockstar Games logo inGTA Vice City. Many businesses and other popular locations in Liberty City, San Andreas, and Vice City also featured inaccurate textures compared to the originalGTA Trilogywere just recently fixed with update 1.04.

Grove Street Games is working to address all of theGTAcommunity’s concerns withGrand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Editionand the prominent issues in theGTA Trilogy,such as visibility while it’s raining andGTASan Andreas' notable lack of fog. While the update 1.04 patch notes may seem thin, countless individual problems with the remastered trilogy have been fixed with the update.
