TheIsle of Armor DLCwent live forPokemon SwordandShieldon June 17, bringing with it a lot of new content for players to explore. Along with the new area, the expansion is also introducing more Pokemon that were previously unavailable to the Galar region.

Fans have been waiting for thePokemon SwordandShieldgames to expand on the obtainable Pokemon that trainers can catch as they explore the game. Since the base game did not include somePokemon from previous generations, players have been looking forward to having some of their favorite Pokemon on the Nintendo Switch. Not only are older Pokemon joiningSwordandShield, but never-before-seen Pokemon will also be coming into play with theIsle of Armor DLC.

Isle of Armoris adding new Pokemon toSwordandShieldthat aren’t from any previous generations. In the Master Dojo, trainers can find the new legendary PokemonKubfu. When players scale either of the Towers of Two Fists, they can see Kubfu evolve into one of the two forms that Urshifu can take.
