What Does Maxima Potion Do?
The Maxima Potion increases the damage of the player’s spells, be they basic casts or more powerful damaging spells like Incendio or Diffindo. The potion lasts for 30 seconds, more than enough time to do a heavy amount of damage in a tough combat encounter.Maxima Potions are especially deadly when paired with the Focus Potion, allowing players to unleash a flurry of overcharged spells.
Where Is the Maxima Potion Recipe?
The Maxima Potion Recipe can only bepurchased from J. Pippin’s Potionsand only after the player unlocks his shop in Hogsmeade by progressing through the main quest. Purchasing the recipe will set players back 500 Galleons, but it’s much better to buy the recipe once than to buy potions over and over again.
How to Make Maxima Potions
In order to make any potion, players will need access to a Potions Station and must have all the required ingredients. Potions Stations are first unlocked after attending Potions Class, but more can beobtained in the Room of Requirement by spending Moonstonesto conjure them. To make a Maxima Potion, players need Leech Juice and a Spider Fang.
Getting the Most Out of Maxima Potions
There’s no doubt that the Maxima Potion is powerful, but it can be made even more deadly by purchasing a specific talent. Talent Points are unlocked after the player finishesexploring Jackdaw’s Tomb in the main quest, and the talent that boosts Maxima Potions is in the Room of Requirement Talents section.
