Many gamers are already trying to carefully examine every location inHorizon Forbidden Westin their search for secrets and hidden references. One such easter egg has now been found that features two prominent characters from 2018’sGod of War.

The post on theGod of Warsubreddit shows that small sculptures of Brok and Sindri are present in the world ofHorizon Forbidden West. Both dwarves played a big role in Kratos’ latest adventure, and they quickly became fan favorites. The comment section is filled with fans expressing their fondness for Brok and Sindri, with many quoting some of their favorite lines from the two brothers.
According to user kerriazes, the Brok and Sindri easter egg can be found a short while after playersenter the Forbidden West as a part ofHorizon’s main story. Players will find a dead Widemaw, near a Leaplasher site, with a hammer in its mouth. They have to examine the hammer and follow the tracks to finally find Brok and Sindri.
It looks like Sony’s first-party studios have decided to add as many references to other PlayStation games as possible.Ghost of Tsushima’s Iki IslandDLChad a similar nod to the opening scene fromGod of War, andHorizon Zero Dawnalso came with aDeath Strandingeaster egg.Astro’s Playroomis filled to the brim with references to other PlayStation games, and all PS5 owners should consider playing it because of that.
Horizon Forbidden Westis just a few days old, and it will take players some time to find all the easter eggs. Developer Guerrilla Games has likely hidden references to other PlayStation titles, and some secrets may even hint at future games.Guerrilla Games is also reportedly working on an unannounced projectthat is over three years into its development cycle. Now thatHorizon Forbidden Westhas launched, Sony may decide to pull the curtain back on this game in one of the next major PlayStation events.
