Farming resources inPalworldcan become tiring, especially when you have advanced further into the game. To assist you with this, the Ranch can help you farm some basic resources like wool, eggs, and milk, which are needed to make important items.
The Ranch may not appear necessary at the beginning of aPalworldplaythrough. But as you advance in level and find new things in the Technology Tree, you’ll realize that your base’s resource farming has to be automated, which is why you need a Ranch. You can save a lot of time bycrafting the ranchand automating the production of various important resources. This extra time can be spent exploring new areas or finding new Pals to add to your Pal Deck, making the Ranch a must-have.
How to Craft and Use the Ranch in Palworld
You will unlock theRanchatTechnology Level 5and mustuse 50 wood, 50 stone, and 50 fiberto craft it. Make sure you have enough room to build a Ranch inside your base, as it takes up a substantial amount of space.
After crafting the Ranch, you will have to assign a Pal withfarming workabilityso that they may begin grazing and producing some useful resources. The Ranch can be used to gather resources from sheep and fowl-like Pals. Some fowl-like pals,such as Vixy, Lamball, Chikipi, Cremis, and Caprity, can be found early in the game, allowing you to easily begin resource farming once you have constructed a Ranch.
Pals with gathering workability will gather resources that have been dropped inside the ranch, or you can assign someone to gather all the drops from the ranch manually by throwing a Pal toward it.

The resources dropped by the Pals grazing on the Ranch might not be rare; however, they can be highly valuable and are frequently needed in large quantities for crafting new items. Milk and Honey are two of the most important resources that can be gathered from the ranch.Milk is dropped by Mozzarina, andHoney is dropped by Beegarde. These two ingredients are needed to create Cake, which is a must-have item duringthe breeding processin the Breeding Farm. Thus, to ensure the continuous production of new Pals in your base, you need a steady supply of Milk and Honey, which can easily be acquired by putting a Mozzarina and Beegarde on your ranch.
