Persona 3 Reloadhas overhauled the way Tartarus works, especially compared to the original version of the game. Not only do characters not get tired after spending the Dark Hour exploring Tartarus, you’re able to restore your HP and SP by spending Twilight Fragmentson the small clock by the entrance.
That’s not the only clock in Tartarus, either. Starting in July, you’re able to encounter something calledthe Great Clockwhile exploring the upper floors. Finding this clock also requires Twilight Fragments, but the benefit it provides to yourPersona 3 Reloadparty members is well worth the cost.

How to Use the Great Clock In Persona 3 Reload
Your first encounter with the Great Clock is a scripted moment that takes placein the first section of Block Three in Yabbashah. You trigger it by spending at least one Twilight Fragment to open a chest. Once you do, a large clock with a green portal in the middle will appear next to the staircase.
Once you enter the portal, the game will tell you to choose two party members who aren’t the main character. The next time these characters gain experience, they’llgain enough levels to match the main character.

It is important to note that if you leave Tartarus before these characters can fight, they’ll lose the benefit of matching the main character’s level.
This is an extremely valuable service, because, unlike inPersona 5,your inactive characters never gain experience. And whether you swap in party members often enough to keep them equal or stick with a core group, your main characterwill always be ahead of some SEES membersbecause he’s always in the active party. This means the Great Clock’s levels are a big help that only gets bigger no matter what your exploration strategy is.
